Anyone planning on travelling to Calagry in mid July to please pm me. I will be travelling through Luftansia in Mid July and i would need help. Travelling alone with 2 inants and a babym i dont want to imagine the stress, i just pray for Favor from God and assitance.

I am a Mechanical Engineer practising in the Oil and Gas sector and currently on an Engineering Manager role(MD of an Oil and Gas servicing company)

Please i need all the assistance and if i may ask:-

Do i need to get IELTS since my post secondary programme is in English and from an English speaking country??

Yes oh, you will have to get IELTS score band 7 for yourself and wife. Since you are using David Cohen, he wil guide you better after conducting an assessment exercise for you n your spouse.

@ emmy-est, very good points on application /file number and the need to inform AVO about cancelling the use of agent.

In the meantime, it is possible for someone to go ahead to pay for the request landing permit and get PCC without geting such instructions yet from AVO - just to shorten any leadtime in the PR processing, although I am still waiting for MR. Any idea will be apreciated. Cheers, HAA

When I got the RPRF, in the email it was stated that I should attach the evidence of the request to pay. So what I did was to print a copy of the email and attached it to the draft. In your case there wouldnt be any evidence for the payment if you pay now.

Your MR and RPRF is on the way, I know the wait can be killing atimes.

Do you have your application / file number,I think you might not be able to do the update without this number.

Also I think you might need to cancel your agent representing you,inform accra by filling a particular form that u no longer wish to be represented by the agent

Yes dear, we are doing great. Just trying to fit into our new country. Am so happy cos of all d recent updates. We need more nigerians here cos u just feel out-numbered most of d time by d Asians. The wether is better now and the sun is up all day. Just loving it.

Asians have the highest number of immigrants to Canada, about 78%, while Africans are just 4%. As long as you are "just loving it", don't be bothered.

They claim 1year! You're right! Honestly,MI3 should be settled before them attending to this new applicants if they would stick to the 1year waiting period,else I don't think it would work out.

Only the principal applicant requires IELTS. My husband never took it.
