bros or sis, the process that you is use for getting driver licence is similarity for all canada city.the simple way will be this. before you goes to write the G1 text. you will wrote letter go meet Nigeria high commission that is locate for Ottawa, ....................

Thank you Mufu.
One thing that is for sure in this country is that you must learn to read! Everything I reqd was on the internet. So if it’s urgent, I suggest you visit the web first and probably just ratify on the forum for guidance.
I must tell you that people told us we have thrown away our licenses when we sent our licenses for authentication to the Naija High Commission in Ottawa , but I am reasonably impressed that they processed it in the 5 days they committed to on the website...some things still work well with Naija! There is still hope.
I and my wifey received the Letters of authentication from Ottawa today so we will proceed to processing our licenses. Please for the benefit of others: This is what you require for DLs @ least in Calgary (read these two links well):
http://www.nigeriahcottawa.ca/nhc2/index.php/en/consular-section/other-consular-services/drivers-license
http://www.servicealberta.ca/1671.cfm
My final suggestion is that you can also do this authentication with FRSC before coming to Calgary or any where they require this authentication. It may just save the 10 days of waiting for the licenses to reach Ottawa and get back to you.
I wish us all the best and congrats to all that have received the UGWU – it will be sweet for us all!

@Ladomani, thanks for the update and the link am sure it would be of benefit to many of us. All the best in the drive test and don't forget Pa Mufu's advise that you should try and book in a less busy area so you can get an early date and he said the driving schools can help in this areas.

The advise of getting the authentication done here is also very instruttive, besides the time saved, it also let you know from here if your license is fake!! Or genuine!?

Thanks once again and regards to Wifey and the entire household.

Cheers
Tinuade

Good morning everyone,

I just got the Passport request from ACCRA this morning, I wish to say a big thank you to all in this forum, thanks for your support and encouragement, May God continue to quicken their hands in accra to meet our needs IJN.

Now I have a question, How can I retrieve my 2004 application that has been in process for over 8 years now that a decision has been taken on my 2010 application?

@Kpopi,
friend I need to talk to you, I might be taking your option, cant leave my job in Naija for now, besides a lot has changed since my initial application in 2004.

many thanks
Chev

Congratulations Chevchenko on your PPR. May God perfect your ways in the remaining part of the journey. Amen.

On the question of 2004 Application, I think you can ask them in AVO when you get there. But 2010 Application has superseded the 2004, thank God you are now successful with it. Maybe they will ask you to write letter of withdrawal quoting your ref numbers for 2004. But first get to AVO. Best of luck.
