And if I may ask, what type of visa did your friends apply for??? Agents do not influence the pace of processing in anyway. Many here have gotten their visas without engaging any agent. I very much doubt your friends applied for PR under FSW.

Hello Peeps,
I've carefully followed the forum without really posting (Apologies). My heart goes out to Mrs Costa D and their 3 kids. I trust God to console them and give them a fresh start. Although we already discussed this on the BB group, I was able to search the forum and saw the links below:

Please Note this:

Warning - Change of Status
Should any of the following circumstances apply to you (or any person included in your application), you must inform this office in writing immediately for further action:
change in marital status by reason of marriage, divorce, separation, annulment or death; death of applicant, dependant(s) or sponsor; birth of a child; if you have other children which you have not listed on your application form (whether or not they live with you);
if your dependant children included on this application themselves have children which you have not listed on your application (whether or not these children live with you or your child); change in health; the laying of any criminal charges or conviction for a criminal offence;
change in your mailing address / e-mail address and/or telephone number. Failure to inform this office of any changes of the above may render you and your family members inadmissible to Canada. If you have already been issued immigrant visas, you are not allowed to arrive in Canada without informing this office in writing of any of the above circumstances and receiving our specific direction on the next steps you must take.

It is important Mrs Costa D informs Accra of the hubby's death before landing. I trust God they will ultimately possess their place in Canada. Oh Lord we ask for your mercies towards this family, you alone can comfort them; they deserve a fresh start in Canada. Thank you Lord for it is settled In Jesus Name Amen.. Dear Mrs Costa, kindly get in touch with either Ig and Tinuade(numbers provided) as soon as possible.
Congrats to Neddy and others that got MR, & PPR. Let's all remain confident that God will perfect all that concerns us In Jesus Name Amen
DyDx

Thank you for this piece. God bless your effort.

Mrs Costa D what you need to do in the light of this post is to send an email to accra using this address (re-accra.immigration@international.gc.ca)

Tell them of the development and sign your mail with your names, UCI Number and the Immigration application number
All this number are quoted in the mails sent to you for MR and PPR.

Let the presence of the Lord which is of a great strength be available to you at this time and His promise in Heb. 13: 5&6 shall be yours today. Please spend more time with the word of God at the moment. I pray that the community of God's children in your neighbourhood will rise to be there for you now.

Neddy

@ Jeno
using an agent has nothing to do with how fast an application is treated, it depends on the rules in place at the moment an application is submitted. Very many of us applied not using agents and the processing is going at the same speed with those that used agents and applied at the same time. Thanks

@Gent2 and other landed Nurses in the forum
years ago my wife attempted to register with CARNA in Alberta, the out outcome of the assessment was that she should come for 5 days Substantially Equivalent Competency assessment (SEC),unfortunately she applied for visiting visa twice AND WAS REFUSED, Now CARNA decision has expired and filed was closed after 2 years.We need to start afresh and the required IELTS academic score has increased.
Ontario will not register Nigerian RN nurses as RN except he/she is a graduate (B.Sc)
my question is do you know likely outcome that CNO usually gives too Nigerian RN that applied for registration as Registered Practicle Nurse (RPN).

What is the differences between the job of Registered Nurse and Registered Practicle Nurse?
Thanks
Jovic

@ NEDDY congrats on your PPR
