Pls i have questions in filling the new form:
what's the meaning of "UCI" on the new form?
Shld i answer "No" to the Quebec certificate selection on leave it blank?

UCI means Unique Client Identification number, I got mine with the AOR received with my Federal application after receiving my CSQ, it is 8 digits number, I normally use it to check my ECAS.

Certainly your answer should be "No" since you are not under the Quebec process.

Congratz Noizi on ur PPR

Pa Right sent u a PM now.

Hello all,
it gives me great pleasure to finally join this discussion. i have been a very silent member of this group since April this year. i have joined in your laughter, been sad with u all, rejoiced with u all for the new babies and all those who made milestones in this canada Journey. Visiting this group has really helped to keep this hope alive.
i have laughed at all the jokes, had my silent comments about the naija issues and other issues discussed. although i could not make the last eagles meeting, i still shared in all the prayers.
i rejoiced with pa right and diamondx as they got their ppr, especially since we did our medicals at about the the same time. i have been silently expecting my own too.

I am happy to share with the house that Jesus has made me too fineeeeee

We received our PPR ON FRIDAY 9:14p.m but did not see it in the inbox until this morning.

Just ignore the UCI field. As per the instructional guide, its not compulsory. I left mine blank. No issues. Pls PM your number. As per the Quebec field, answer NO as an FSW1 otherwise Yes.

Thank all I also got my PR 2 days ago. Thanks.
But I am not ready to relocate finally. I am doing a postgraduate course that will help me over there. It will take me the next 3 year to finish. I am planning to to land and come back. Either come back alone or with my family.

But I heard sometime that one can tell them to hold the visa for us. I don't know if this is through. Pls does anybody know anything like this.

But this does not work. I will land and come back. This visa is a great achievement and I will guide it jealously.

Congratulations TJ2010. Basically, you must land before your Visa expiration or your medical anniversary like 4glory advised. Why don't you think about pursuing the post graduate studies in Canada. For so many reasons, i think it may be a better option for you because if you have about 3 years to finish it, that suggests you just started the program. Further more, the certificate you acquire in Canada will more easily be recognized and you can even take a loan to do the program which you will refund with ease and have part if it paid for by the government. Except there are other compelling factors that we are not aware of. Good luck as you proceed further.

Dear Forum members,
I need your advice to lower my blood pressure o. I got my ppr on July 19, 2012; 3months, 8days after we went through medicals.
My wife is presently more than 36 week pregnant and I understand she will not be allowed aboard aircraft.

What do I do for me not to miss this opportunity? Appreciations for your expert advice

Orire,

My dad always tells me "whatever you seek in life ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION"

i suggest you personally call the airline(s) and inform them of your dilemma & be ready to land in Alberta, where you will be entitled to free medical from day one of landing.

if and when that doesn't work , then you have two options;
1) Delay collecting the Visa till the baby arrives & inform Accra (I'm assuming the baby will arrive withing your 60 day deadline).

2) Collect the Visa and prepare to return it back to Accra WHEN you decide to add your baby for an update.

I suggest you start calling the airlines NOW !!!

TJ2010,

Please take time to ponder on Ikemba's advice... there is a lot of wisdom in his words.

All the best in making your decision.

@ Orire, Please talk with LUFTHANSA and plan to land within the next 2 weeks. Otherwise do as Omo Naija adviced.

@ TJ2012. If the best university in Nigeria ranked number 6,000 in the world and to make the matter worst your omolorogbo University Bachelor/Master's is not so recognized out there. I will not spend 1 more kobo to pursue any certificate further here if I intend living in Canada. If you are pursuing certification that are recognized world wide it would have been another matter of worth and note.

@ Toluwanile, Please check the top left corner of your AOR, your UCI number is there. Copy it and enter into the column. It will assist you VO.

Cheers
