They say that my Birth Certificate is not recorded in Nigeria and I should provide official Birth Certificate. (Pls note:The certificate was issued by the hospital at the time of birth).
Please guys what other document can i provide at this moment? Or how can i explain this so they can understand? Just confused here...Thanks in advance for your advice and support.

Yes it was the Visa Officer, so not sure why they reject the birth certificate from the hospital and what other way to go about it?

I know that the National population commission issues birth certificate, I think that should suffice.

Loolo, NPC does not issue to those born between 1990 and below. Am aware that for 1950s to 1980 it was the Hospital Management Board accross the country. For Lagos State, I think its Dr. Popola.

Greetings to all PAs & MAs in da house,

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!! to all those who moved a step closer to our dream country and to those still expecting the good news I say hang in there the message is on its WAY.

@Eddy070, you can get an affidavit in place of birth certificate that what I used but if you have d time go to NPC office they will tell you what to do to get a birth certificate no matter the year of birth.

Where were you born? Nigeria or abroad? I know that the American embassy accepts the NPC birth certificate for green card processing but not sure of Canadian embassy though.
What about swearing an affidavit?.

Thanks for ur suggestion, but try an put urself in my shoe bcos i have a birth certificate from the hospital at the time of my birth but it was rejected. So my brother went to NPC where they issued him a paper with (Registration of a Birth) containing my parent names, so not sure if that is what every other person have bcos is not in form of certificate that why am worried.
