Good day my people o... its 8:06am here in Montreal. temperature 2degrees centigrade.
MORE Observations:
1) you hardly will find the POPO (police in the streets of Montreal)... i had thought that i will be accosted by police men with every step i take for me to prove my status... in fact u wont find them... i av only seen them ones

2) Proof of Fund: well it seems anyone who can sucessful convince the VO that they av the required money for POF is good to to even if they they do not bring the money in cash to canada as at the time of landing... cos the lady who attended to me just asked me aw much do i av? no physical eveidence required... much importance was not even attached to it at all.

3) there are several intermediate level jobs in Montreal (not odd jobs but call centre jobs with telecoms companies and other service based company) that pays between 13-21)$ /hrs.most of them are also termed entry level jobs and there also are some purely English speaking jobs few though.

3b) full time jobs here implies a 37.5hours of work per week.

4) White collar jobs: well i doubt if this term actually originated from the whites or its just sth we coined out in Africa.. at least now i av been to some government establishements and private firms in very tall skycrappers but to my amsement, u will hardly find workers puting on a jacket with a black shoe.... the norm is jeans, with boots, u name it... i was to go for an interview yday but i coudnt due to delay at the bank... but u need to see what i was putting on.. PAPA Ajasco self no fit dress like that.. i guess the main thing is: just keep urself warm, we need ur brains :D :D :D :D :D

5) the use of Google map: if u can get the address of where u are going, just time it in on Google and it will give u all the routes u can take to get there.. either by metro, bus, combination of both, treking and bicycle...
that was the high light of ydays activities with Oga Francomaj.
He will be putting that to test 2day. he will be going out without me and my task will be to go look for him.... Oga dan pls be prepared to have a Visitor cos i might just show up in Winningpeg :D :D ;D ;D :D :D ;D ;D.

oga dan, did u get my invite? pls sir check ur yahoomail.... cheers

Egrace,

The vivid narration of your experience held me spellbound that I never wanted to miss any line of if, even the fact that I’ve been to Montréal once could not change that.

You better consider making income from writing :D!

Cheers

You mean you don already to attend interview oga mi na so o...although things are cheap here, but the fact that it was my Niara i changed to CAD, every thing sems expensive.. i went shopping yday and i spent 200$. which is actuially small but when i carry culculator to see its naira equivalent, i shouted.. but when i begin earning salary from there, every thing will look normal to me? Omo I fear who no fear you! U too much. NAija no dey carry last. gbam
