Mr Right,

As for the PCC in lagos (Alabon close, ikoyi) .... as i said earlier it is quite easy !

once you get to Alagbon, there is a perfect competition there (as in, you will see so many police & even civilian callining you to get your attention to aid you)

the price is between N3,500 - N5,500 (depending on your bargaining power)

You will have your fingerprints taken (manually) ;D

Most times, you get the PCC same day as long as you get there before 1pm (apart from fridays)

i hope this helps with regards to PCC in Nigeria.

I know of a notary public in Ogudu (behind Ojota) who will do it @ N250 per page but he'll like to see the originals before appending his signature. Don't know if it's the cheap(est) in Lagos but if you wish to contact him let me know.
Wait for other contribution/advise for confirmation of cheap rate in Lagos and what to do as per the scanned documents from your sister.
Cheers.

Lukeke, Please urgently post the Notary Public Address for us Abeg........N250.00 is not too much.

The address is Zaddiah Plaza, 3rd Floor (opposite Ayorinde/WEBIC Church), 1 Emmanuel High Street, Ogudu-Ojota.

The plaza is actually along Ogudu Road. If you need the man's (lawyer's) name and number send me a pm. You might actually need to call him to confirm his availability in the office....except you live around there.

Regards.

Do i have to notarize the documents sent to me for proof of relationship in canada ? please seniors that have their documents in accra plsssssssss help :'( !!!

Hi, I don't think you should since you don't have the original copy of the docs from Canada with you. All you need to do is to attach it to your other documents and explain to the visa office why it was not notarized as the originals are with your sister over there in Canada. Please do not try to notarize it as the VO might wondered how you got the documents notarized without the notary public sighting the originals. God bless.

Also got my PCC yesterday. It was easy and very fast. I never anticipated that. Just contacted one a person i knew there before going, got there gave my wife and i forms to fill, immediately took it in to go and sign and do other necessary paper work. The whole thing did not take more than 30 mins.
But ensure you go with a photocopy of the information page of passport and 2 passport photographs. You shall also thumb print.
pyramid i would get it and post it. I would be going to notorize mine next week tuesday. almost through with the paper collection except for transcript and my IELTS result which has not be sent to me after 4 weeks of taking it

You would have to wait for them to get back to you. Then you would be informed on what to do next.

Hi Awoderu, I would suggest you go and get your IELTS result yourself from BC since they have not sent it to you. I requested that mine be sent to me when i took the exams but after waiting for 4 weeks and didn't see it, i went straight to BC office to collect it to avoid unnecessary delays. My 50 cent.

I sent an email to confirm if they have received my Medicals and i got the reply below:
.
We do not see the medicals until the Medican Section has reviewed them.

I recently sent them an email 3 months after the medicals and i got the reply below again:

I pray look forward to the Postmans visit everyday and i also check my emails everytime but no luck yet. I can not give up for i have been on this journey for over 3 years. The end justifys the means.

Hello Seniors/my very people,

Pls i need an advice for a neighbour-naija. With over 9 years of experience,he plans to apply for NOC 7242-Industrial Electrician, under the new NOC list. He has 3 children from 2 different women, but no formal or traditional marriage (hence no document to proof relationship) with any of the women, but he presently co-habits with the second woman( the mother of 1 of the children)

NOW, how should he treat these women in his application? He intends sponsoring all his children without the women. PLEASE ADVISE

Thanks.

Of course there is a Canadian High Commission in Nigeria for those applying for visitor visas. Here's the link to their website: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/nigeria/offices-bureaux/high-com_lagos_haut-com.aspx?lang=eng

However, for those looking to immigrate to Canada, Accra takes care of that.
