pls we must not allow the sluggishness of accra to get us worked up.Let us all continue to pray that something positive will happen soon to spur them into prompt action. My concern is just that this one visa in something that appears to be a quarter will only worsen the backlog, because applications are been sent on a daily basis. But just like Ig said God is on the throne. He makes all things beautiful in His time.

Another thing I did though am married I indicated it but said my spouse wont be accompanying me to Canada maybe that is making my case fast I don't know but I give all glory to God.
I pray about it daily and I want us all to do same.

I do not think Accra is that slugglish. They are inundated by the number of African applicants. But nevertheless that does not mean they shuld be this slow. New Delhi also has high volume of applicants but they are producing results. Accra wake up. I need to see some sign to show that i have made progress. even if it is just a letter to confirm that my file is with them. Sent in case specific requiry, they said they do not have my file, yesterday(14th october CIO) called CIO still no good news yet.

The Asian countries enjoy far better visa quota. Comparatively, pressure is more on the Accra office than most others...

Not exactly my business but are you running away from your wife or why is she not accompanying you if you are married???

If you dont want to include your wife at this stage, there is no problem, it only save you money. such as processing fee, and landing fee for your wife. But note that either accompany or not you and all your family we do and pay for medical.Applying alone will also save you POF

Lets all believe that accra will wake up soon. for me am already considering other options such as getting a school in canada. we really desire to move by next year september is our plan. if PR does not come then maybe study visa will come. I really want to do an MBA but GMAT has not been easy for me so am thinking of any other canadian course to at least get in first.

Congrats! Take things easy and have fun, Chilliwack has one of the warmest weather in the whole of Canada but the crime rate is a bit elevated too when compared with national average...in case you plan to settle there, pls tread softly before you sabi ground.
