Same here. No AOR. I may documents reached NS may 12 and still so AOR many of the applicants have received theirs. I think they are sending by according to VO. Same story with Buffalo's VO, none of em have received their, warsaw, india, manila etc. are the ones receiving presently. What we need is patience. we hope sometin would gud would happen soon.

How are you all doing?
If I get you question right, is AOR dat which comes with file number Boxxxxxxxx
If yes I got mine in August and submitted my application June 7th with additional doc requested last 2wks. Asking for employment letter and schedule 1 form which had submitted earlier with my DOB.
Though I have sent it and a scanned copy which I hope they would have gotten it.
Is there any other AOR?

Abeg, Do we have 9ja who is a June applicant here who has recieved his AOR.. My thread guys are all receiving AORS in the last couple of days but am yet to get anyone in 9ja reach AOR.. at least not emo or Right who are my thread members.. My docs landed in cic on the 2nd of June.

Are these guys doin it per country..? abeg let me know my fate.. I still believe 9ja go better.

did you use a debit card has it been charged? my dear sometimes this whole canada issue is just basket of patience. While others who applied with me in March got aor after two months mine did not come until after three months. the good thing is that they did not return your file so my brother relax aor will come. I have submitted full document to accra since August and am yet to get aor from them up till now but i have learnt that patience is the name of the game

Yes, patience is the key. But if you haven't read from them from the last three months of your last contact, there is no harm in getting accrross to your CHC. I mail CHC yesterday when i receive nothing from them concerning my expectation passport request. Here is what i wrote CHC:

Dear Sir, Madam
I am writng to enquire about my application for permanent residence submitted
in June 2004.I had paid the right of landing fee, completed and sent our medicals.
I wish to be informed about the current status of my application, please. Should you have
requested for a passport request, i am using this medium to inform you that nothing of such
has been received.
Hope to read from you no time, please

They are inconsistent with replies. On September 1, I sent an information via email which they replied on September 10. Someone else sent a case-specific enquiry around July and got a response the next day. There's no harm in sending enquiries but should be at least a month apart.

Employment Offers, who are legally residing in Canada and have been there for at least one year as
Temporary Foreign Workers or International Students"

Help pls,

My spouse is currently in canada now on temporary work permit,she got their 1/10/2010 and she is currently waiting for "AOR" from "CIC",she submited application for parmanet residence 08/06/10 and the application was received in sydney on 15/06/10.The work permit just came in miraculously as she have work on it since early 2009.

My query is this,we intend to use this work permit as "arrange employment".she is still expecting"AOR" from "cic" sydney but with a fellow member of forum quoting the 1st quote stated above in is rejection letter from is visa office(London) would it still be good for us to go on as we have plan?The second quote i got from the guide explain notting is bad if she present the work permit for "arrange employment" since she is presently in canada.

thanks bro,i am begining to apply caution,read up a few things on the place and confirms what u said;closer to us than downtown.when u say suport systems,are there special things to look out for beyond schools,transport,hospital,rcmp et al.pls do let me know if i'm thinking like a 9ja.safety?not sure

You got it covered, the internet is pretty powerful. check up forums for BC and see if can get gist about the different areas..focus on cost of accommodation, nearness to shopping, schools, bus stops (before you put your phantom on the road). Your wife will help here, she knows those critical things necessary to have around. You shouldn't need the rcmp!
