If she did, the call may just be meant for you!
Do not discount the possibility that they may be asking for MR and PPR at once
Some VOs in asia do that you know

If she didn't call the right name, then by all means this must be a case of mistaken (or is it mismatched ???) phone numbers

I just stumbled on this page and wish to state that you guys are really doing a great work here. I applied for the permanent residence in 2004 through an agent but i later discovered that somehow the application was not treated by the Accra Office as my agent did not follow it up.However, in 2006 i got the acknowledgment letter stating my file number and other info . I usually send them mails yearly to know the status of my application but the usual reply is that "you can be rest assured that your application is with us and you will be contacted in due course". I'd like to know the year they are currently processing as i am begininig to loose interest. Its taking damn too long........

You are welcome. you can be sure that your file is in the pool of the backlogs. so keep waiting and checking on them once in a while. You can also order CIAP NOTE. to be sure of the status.

i got my CAIPs note 2day: and the wrote B file sent to KAS BF'D to: 2MA on 8-8-2011 WHAT does this mean

is security decision different from Criminality decision?
for SEC CRI they wrote 1, is this same as security decision?
for EMP CODE: they wrote PRIORITY

Yes anybody can apply for caips note for you including your dependants as long as that person is in canada and you fill & sign the consent form.

You are welcome Zoze, one can't be too sure if your NOC cap would have been reached by September, it seems pretty tight though. You didn't really start early, a lot of applicants out there have long had their complete docs ready for July 1st take off. You just go ahead, and pray to be lucky.

Your adopted children wouldn't be a problem, so long as the adoption was done legally, and you have all the official papers.

Yes you can get the police clearance certificate from force headquarters in Abuja.

Yes you require bank drafts(CAD), I learn't from this forum that CAD drafts can only be obtained from GT bank in Lagos. You can also use a debit card, but this sometimes fail as the issuing company may decline the transaction. In my case, I raised the draft through a brother in Canada(had to send my complete application to him).

Are you self employed now?, how long did you work in the company that has folded? You should still have your previous employment letter, payslips, letter of promotion(if applicable), etc. A reference letter is usually required, but if you cannot get that since the company has folded, then you would include a letter explaining this.
