Hello every one,

I just stumbled on this page and wish to state that you guys are really doing a great work here. I applied for the permanent residence in 2004 through an agent but i later discovered that somehow the application was not treated by the Accra Office as my agent did not follow it up.However, in 2006 i got the acknowledgment letter stating my file number and other info . I usually send them mails yearly to know the status of my application but the usual reply is that "you can be rest assured that your application is with us and you will be contacted in due course". I'd like to know the year they are currently processing as i am begininig to loose interest. Its taking damn too long........

As to the year they are processing now, it is such an eclectic mix, that even the most seasoned contributor to this forum gets bombed on a few occasions.
The bare facts I guess, are that quite a bit of '04 applicants have landed, while some are still being processed.
Quite a lot of attention is on post June 26 2010, post feb 2008 and now of course post July 2011.
But if you've been out of circulation for a while as you imply, you may want to visit the cic website and delve into the various threads of this forum to get meaty details

You may need to call the other number to report this. Somebody may be on the verge of missing out on his Visa just because the VO assumes they have called him to come for it and he never showed up. May that not be our portion IJN.

my pple, this is not a joke o. na emergency......
i just r'cid a call 4rm accra now at least that was what the person claim and she gave me d details of my file..... then she said a decision has been made on my file...... then i said no... it is not possible..... she mentioned my name again and said i applied as a Quebec skilled worker...i con gentil....then she went ahead to say i can come pick up my VIsa any time 4rm monday. between 8-4pm....uuuuuh. it was at that point that i knew she must av mistaken me for someone else. and d line just tripped off.... at least that should mean that someone in nigeria will b jumping for joy 2day......
maybe nay b mail wey i nack dem today wey den see so o... uuh immediately i nack them another 3mails say nah e-MR/ the tracking number of my parcel na eh i need o....

but one thing wey dey make me suspect the whole thing as false b say
1) the number was hidden
2) the number to which i was called was my official line which i did not include in my application
3) how were they able to link this number to my name; although it was this same number that i use in calling them in the morning but i was not even allowed to say a word let alone saying my name b4 the auto response told me bye bye. i only mentioned my name at the enquiry section and after telling the lady my challenge she told me i sholud contal d visa section. Abi na all this 419 pple

@ kpopi: will do that 2mao. butv she also said that they av sent a mail to that effect.. so may be the e-mail will be able to take care of thier mistake.... at least me i no c any mail.

Dear egrace, congrats once again. Do you know that some applicants are actually asked to send their MR and Passports. Your visa may be waiting o;D. They may want to give u the visa immediately the MR is sent. Do not despair my bro, sorry PA.
