I must commend everyone one this forum for a wonderful job well done. i am new to this forum and require assistance from all especially the experienced ones.
We are about to submit our fsw application to CIO with my hubby as principal applicant but need some clarifications.
1. whats the meaning of PER, AOR1 AOR2 with regards FSW.
2. what form of custody document are we supposed to show as we have a 10months old son?

My question is where does one get a GHANIAN DRAFT from!!!!! Your best bet is to travel to Ghana. Use the Barclays Bank close to the High Commission Office.

AOR - Acknowledgment of receipt. This was mostly standard notification procedure for pre-June 2010 apps.
For your 10 month old son, I believe his birth certificate should be sufficient proof.
Thanks a bunch Spokes.

MOT momomot said:Hello again,
Just read Seglad's mail on the CAD$. My understanding is if a draft is written in CAD$ the beneficiary will be the receiver general for canada and the draft goes to Canada to be cashed. So the issue of xchange rate will not come in. The cheque that I sent that returned was in USD.
Having said that, I saw a GTBank advert last week for payment in West african countries. So I believe they have started issuing these currencies. If you're interested, pls make further enquiries from their contact centre.
I was only lucky that my friend was in Ghana for a course when I needed the draft. I called him in Ghana to help cut the draft which he did. So it wasnt a walk in the park for me at that time.
Hope this helps.
