I doubt if it is possible for you to do upfront Medicals....I am not sure how that will work.
For one, you need the medical form IMME to be able to do the medicals, it is usually electronically generated with a barcode specific to each applicant and dependant, and you cannot get it until Accra sends it to you.
Second, why would you decide to do the Medicals upfront? Remember that the lifespan of your medicals is just one year, and if you do not land in that year, you will have to repeat the medicals. So, what if you actually successfully do the medicals (although not sure if that is possible), and your PPR is delayed for whatever reason (strike, mistakes, processing time delays etc), and it expires...you will still have to redo the medicals....
I think we should just wait, and hope that the updates will resume.

Oreke - don't worry, you will soon get your PER, then, the waiting game will then begin. I strongly believe this current stream of applicants will have a shorter completion time with AVO than the previous sets of 2010-2011/12 applicants going by the improved CIC process time via eMedicals etc.

in my own case it took 8days for my ecas to be updated '' Medical received '' after my medicals

i dont have the results.
