Hi,
I got my PR a year back. Currently, my family is in Canada and I frequently travel to Canada. I still holding to my job in US on H1B while looking for job in Canada. I never had problem crossing border on my passport and PR card.

I am considering applying for Nexus card to save time on border lines. My questions are below and wondering if I can get some help/advise from this forum.

1. I heard it can be a problem while holding on to H1B status while having Canadian PR... My company also has filled for my GC and currently Labor & I-140 is approved. Any concern in trying to keep both while I get any good job in Canada. Moving without good job does not make sense to me?

2. Will Nexus approval be a problem? Thinking US and Canadian official might object seeing details that I am having GC filed while holding PR and vice versa.

Regards

Did you read the requirements? Resident continuously for 3 years in Canada/US to apply. http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/prog/nexus/elig-admis-eng.html

Yes I did. I have been in US for more than 3 years. The requirement states either in US or Canada.. not both..

Hi, I know this is a pretty old topic, but I was wondering what the outcome was for your NEXUS application?
