Hello all.

I got my COPR a while ago and I'm planning to fly out in January. I already bought the ticket and everything.
My flight goes from Paris to Toronto Pearson airport, then to Edmonton, all connection flights and my luggage go directly to the last stop, aka Edmonton.

My questions are:
1- Where do I process the immigration paperwork, is in in Toronto or in Edmonton?
2- If in Toronto, how long does that process usually take, since I only have 2 hours between landing in Toronto and then flying to Edmonton
3- Is there any way that we can make this process even faster? I saw that I can do the customs declaration ahead of time, any other tips that I should follow to avoid unnecessary delays?

Thank you in advance

1. Toronto
2. It varies depending on how busy they are on any given day. It may be or it may not be. Since you're flying on a single ticket, your airline will simply move you to a later flight if you miss your first one.
3. There really isn't a way to make the landing process faster on the day of that I am aware of. It will all depend on how busy they are that day.

#3 - Buy business class tickets, you'll be first out and will reach before anyone else does. Is it worth it? I guess not!

2 hours is way too tight since you have to land and go back through security. When are you arriving during the day? There may not be another flight that day if you miss your current connection. When re you flying? Is it during a time period when flights are full. Not sure if you automatically will get rebooked to free it’s not the same as buying a single ticket from start to destination and if one flight is delayed you are rebooked at no charge because it wasn’t your fault. Sure people don’t allow for enough time to land fairly regularly but assume the rebooking at no charge will depend on availability, the airline and maybe the person. Would suggest verifying with the airline about their policy about being delayed by landing procedures and looking at the flight schedules after your scheduled flight.
