Hi I am a canadian citizen and currently waiting for my husband to get his visa stamped while living with him in Bosnia, I am pregnant giving birth in about 3 weeks and was wondering how long does it take for a newborn to get a visa and if their is any faster way? Will I need to get her a passport or can she be put on mine? Also will she be a Canadian citizen through me once we are in Canada?

She needs her own passport to travel to Canada.
She will be a Canadian citizen at birth. You will need to apply for proof of citizenship for her. However seeing that the proof of citizenship processing takes close to a year now, you will want to get a temporary passport to allow her to travel sooner.
No - that won't work. She is a Canadian citizen at birth and therefore doesn't qualify for a TRV / eTA.

I'm sorry for so many questions. How long does it take for a newborn born in another country to get a Canadian passport and how come I wouldn't be able to get her a Bosnian passport and apply for a visa as she would be Bosnian as well. I am Bosnian and Canadian and have dual citizenship and have no issues.
I'm not sure what you mean by "a visa under family sponsorship". If you are asking about sponsoring her for PR, that is not the right step and won't work since she is already a Canadian citizen.
I don't know how long a temporary passport takes - however this is going to be the fastest route for getting her to Canada after she is born. See the link I provided to you above. You need to follow the link at the very bottom of the page and contact the Canadian office abroad closest to where you are now to ask about how to apply for the temporary passport once she is born and how long it will take.
She does not qualify to travel on a TRV since she is already Canadian. You need to get the temporary passport.
She is a Canadian citizen by descent through you. She is therefore a Canadian citizen at birth.

That's citizenship by naturalisation, it means your daughter is a citizen (you can pass citizenship on).
So the issue is: Canadian citizens must enter Canada by their Canadian passport (or at least 'as' Canadian citizens). Although your daughter does not have any proof (yet) she is a Canadian citizen, that is separate from her 'acquiring' citizenship (she cannot acquire citizenship - she was born one, just doesn't have the docs).
Put differently: as the daughter of a Canadian-by-naturalisation, she is a presumed citizen. (This is not a legal term, my own phrasing for simplicity)
If she applies for an ETA, she will likely be refused - and it's important that you do not misrepresent / misstate anything on the ETA form. And with a Bosnian passport, she cannot board the flight without the ETA. In other words, she will need Canadian passport to board the flight to Canada.
This is why the proper approach is to apply for her citizenship and for a 'temporary' passport (basically temporary because it is issued in precisely such cases, where the applicant is a presumed citizen but hasn't received the citizenship documentation yet).
Note, I do not know - it may be possible for her to arrive at a land border eg through USA and for you to show the border guards the application for citizenship (i.e. tell them she is a Canadian citizen but hasn\t received the passport yet). At the border, the border guards will let anyone in whom they 'are satisfied is a citizen' into the country (although it's up to you to satisfy them). But it may not be practical for you to travel this way.
I’m in Australia and am a Canadian citizen and my twin girls were born here in Australia. My husband is Australian so my daughters are Canadian by birth, in order for you to apply for your husband’s visa your baby will 100% have to have his/her Canadian Citizenship Certificate. My girls took about 5 months to be issued. You will not be able to apply for your husbands visa until you do this first, The spousal visa is for non Canadian citizens only and your baby will be Canadian by birth.
I don't believe this is true. The application form and instricrions for spousal sponsorship are quite clear -you need to show you have at least applied for citizenship for the children - and you can show that by submitting a copy of the citizenship application docs for them. So no need to wait.
You may need some local id in addition to birth certificate though, don't remember, and that may take some time.
Hmm well I did contact the Canadian office here and I was told not to apply for the visa until I had the girls certificates in hand. That needs to be processed first for proof of citizenship? You could be very well correct, that’s what I was advised so that’s what I ended up doing.
