Hello everyone
I am from India .. i got married in feb. 2020
My husband is PR in Canada
I got pregnant and am blessed with a baby girl in nov.
we applied for spouse PR in end of august and till we haven’t received any update regarding our file
We haven’t even received any application number .
so without client id/ no reply from embassy , how can we update them about the birth of baby ?
though i have mentioned in form about my pregnancy and due date
Also i had to make changes in my passport , my passport got reissued and details have been changed .
how can i update the embassy about the changes and my babyto the application ?
plus how much time it would take for us to go to canada as it’s hard staying without hubby for this long
?
can anyone help
We applied on Aug 28th

Short form: you need to provide the updated info (baby, passport, etc) via Webform on IRCC site. You should check instructions elsewhere and be prepared to provide documents (birth certificate, etc) and probably update your previously provided forms (especially the IMM0008). You will eventually need a passport for your child so apply early.

This is easier to do if you have a UCI already (your husband should have) or the file number (if you have not received anything, you would need to call IRCC help line and inquire from within Canada).

No-one knows how long your file will take. It is in your interest though to update the file via webform soon.

This may be obvious but rules for health insurance vary by province, you and your child may not be covered on arrival. Look into this in advance. Best advised (depending on local circumstances) to deal with as many health matters for the child before departing as possible.

Thanku so much
I’m the principal applicant
My husband isn’t
And to call on helpline they will ask id no / application no. Which we aren’t having yet
So is there any other way rather to keep on waiting ? I’m really worried

You can provide other identifying information. Your husband's UCI information will help.

Hi,
Can anyone help me with the below concern?

Our baby was born in Canada two months ago, and now we are about to apply the PR for myself and my wife. We are on work permit.
My question is: should I include my babies details as well in the PR application(for instance: photos, birth certificate, or any other details)?
I haven't gotten any of the documents/IDs of my baby yet.

Please help.
