The only thing i miss are my girlfriends and my mom. I don't keep too many friends still just a few that are like family and that is one thing i find hard. My husbands family is amazing to both my son and I, but I don't have my own friends to go for coffee or whatever. We still talk on the phone and when my husband gets here we are going to visit so he can say where I came from and meet my people. As mi get old and grey one thing is GOOD GOOD friends are few and far between. I meet acquaintances at the ymca and at church and stuff...but you know what i mean.

As far as the place... i did my time man. LOL.

Speaking of which... do you any of you find it difficult to talk to your friends lately. I feel like i'm such a downer and I despise fielding the questions about when my husband is coming back...
I just dont' feel to talk to anyone... and look how mi full a chat.

Yea i do, its kinda hard to relate to them. And i know they are just wondering but i hate when they ask if i have heard anything yet, especially when i havent!

Mrs Proper : and i completely understand their hearts are in the right place but it's just a frustrating reminder that NOOOO I DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA WHEN MY HUSBAND IS COMING HOME
and wanting to scream that just makes me feel even worse.

limaya, I can so relate... Anyone tired of your friends and family asking you if you heard anything? When is "he' gonna be here?.. I swear I tell them all over and over and over that I will likely no know anything for a long time. I find I isloate too, My friends and family are so suppportive, but all in all its depressing.
This last week has been super hard, as I have a group of friends in JA and my hubby see's them all the time, I feel so sad....but i just keep remembering I'll be there Apr. 29.. ahhhh
As for Smoothies comment, good analagy, I so agree.. Funny my hubby appears the same way at the airport, he feel uncomfortable and thinks people judge him. I also recall we spent a week at a resort once and he realized that people stare at us, he had never dated outside his race, and he said he never felt looked apon so much.. I told him that its cause they are in ahhhh of our goodlookingness.. hahha

Trust me Mr.Proper used to be the same, not wanting to hold hands, kiss or any type pf PDA. I remember one time being in town and ppl were staring real bad, so i pushed him up against the car and said kiss me, he started laughing, i said come on now who cares if they are watching, KISS ME!! It was quite funny. He used to be shy and timid about all that but now he dont care, or so he says!!! So we will see next time when i lay a big fat kiss on him!! lol

Lilmaya....Friends what are those....I have lost 2 of my bestfriends going thru this whole process....I mean i have known these ladies since the age of 12 and one from about 20 and they were both at my wedding...

Irving : You are seeing hubby in less than a month!! EEEK!!! ;D How exciting is that!! It's the having nothing to countdown too that is the killer. But having a countdown to hubby can get you through anything! How long are you staying?
SO isolating!!! I don't really want to talk to anyone but my husband.. present company excluded of course! My mom asked me the other day and I was like "If i heard something, do you think I wouldn't be shouting it off the rooftops?! Then i felt like an a$$hole but it is just the all time most frustrating process!
I had a girlfriend go down and meet up with my husband and it took every ounce of strength in my body not to just book a weekend flight down. With what money you ask?? Good question?? I have promised my husband that if we do not hear anything by April 15th i will book a flight before the end of the month. I am praying we hear... i don't want to go to Jamaica again.. i can't afford to go to Jamaica again but I just feel like I have to invest in our relationship too.. not matter the cost.
And yes.. They WERE staring at you because of your goodlookingness! Wouldn't you stare at you?

ha ha you guys are keeping this forum real, thats y i was mad at ........., I lost 2 friend just recently and they were my only friends too, because i get so emotional and sometimes i would say things like God doesnt listen to me when I pray, speaking with my mouth when God knows my heart is just fraustrated from all this wait, but they dont understand and thinks im always down and i should that God more.

I am always thankful but when you are waiting for something and you dont know when it is hard, its like waiting for the cable man and even stay home from work and the stupid cable come at 6:30 when you could a go a work and come back.

so I just decide to dump dem friends i told one of them they were inhuman to my feeling and they felt offended. cho
but i havent been to Ja becas AOR said 6-8 months, so we decided we would same the travel money, only to c 13 months pass and still no hubby, no ecas update
Did any of you all got your blood pressure slightly elevated by this process
or notice a few more grey hair at the left fronth of your head, i know im a bit older but God "grey hairs" puh
