Smoothie, as a PR you guys can take any job you wish so you're not tied to anything. I assume you are a CA citizen, if you're a PR you will have to be in CA to apply, short vacations are ok. As you have been in JA for a couple years you guys will have to reassure cic that you will be coming to CA. An offer letter from your future employer will help as well as letter from family/friends that you have a place to stay while you get settled. On your sponsorship they request an Option C which shows the taxes you paid in CA, you should send a note that you have been working overseas and include any tax receipts you have from JA. The good thing is your choosing to live in JA to be with your hubby goes a long way in showing your relationship is genuine.
