@kym almost 4months

@lonely_wife do u remember how long it took for dem to call him for the pick up?

hey dancehallvid... they called my hubby on the thursday morning and he dropped off the passport that same day in the afternoon. They called him back to pick up his passport on the following tuesday around noon but he couldnt go that tuesday so he went and grabbed it on the thursday so for him it took exactly a week. To be honest, I was expecting that they would take approximatly 2-4 weeks cause that is usually how long it takes... I am hoping that you hear from them soon because if you are anything like my husband, he just wanted the dam process to be over and done with cause he couldnt deal with me stressing him out and crying lol...

Btw where are you gonna be living when you get here? are you all packed and excited to leave jamaica?

I'm a newbie in this website but I sent my application in September... It was INLAND...

Good morning. I am new to all this but I was wondering if someone can help explain the process for me. I sent in the family class sponsorship for my husband who is in jamaica now on February 17th. What can I expect from here? And does anyone know approximately how long this takes? I see on the website that it takes 16 months but friends of ours say they know people who know people blah blah and it only took so and so 1 year?????? who do you believe? I am so lost right now without my husband and I just want this process to go quickly. T.

Good Morning all,

Hoping KGN is in a good mood and feeling generous today! Time to reunite families for Easter!!!

Chickie - Right now the CIC website is quoting 55 days for sponsorship and working on files received January 3, 2011... This puts you at an estimated approval date of April 14 (assuming they received your application February 19th).. You MAY or MAY NOT receive an acknowledgment letter before this date (I did, 10 days before being approved). This letter will say that they received your application on "X" date and that it is being processed. It will also give you your file number for you to use when logging in to E-CAS and check the status of your app. From the time you are approved, they will send your application to Kingston and the wait begins... Good luck!

Thank you for your help! ;D So I will not know anything until I get the acknowledgement letter with my Case #? Did you know you were approved because it told you on the website or because they sent you a letter? T.
