The concept of knowing God’s will is often limited to discerning what specific situation we will be in at some future time. Although seeking God’s specific leading is part of it, another aspect that is just as vital is to follow the clearly defined elements of God’s will each and every day.

For instance, it is God’s will for us to be good citizens as a challenge to those opposed to Christ (1 Peter 2:15), to give God thanks no matter what (1 Thess. 5:18), to be sanctified sexually, avoiding immorality (1 Thess. 4:3), to live under the Holy Spirit’s control (Eph. 5:18), to sing to Him (v.19), and to submit to other believers (v.21).

As we submit to God in these and other areas, we are more likely to live in what Romans 12:2 calls God’s “good and acceptable and perfect will.” Living with God’s smile of approval leads to His guidance for the future.

As we seek to know God’s will for the future, we must also act on what we already know now.

Good Morning Fam,

I can feel my self sinking into a weekend of dispair and i'm trying soo hard not to go there. I want to make the best of the weekend at least for the sake of my son but it feels like there are so many things stacked against me right now. I had told my husband when I left him last time that if we had not heard anything I'd be there this weekend. It's Easter and I want my husband and it's my birthday on Tuesday. No word from Kingston these last two days is bringing me down a bit but i'm trying to keep it positive. (FAILING)

Anyways, i'm looking to Kingston to turn it all around. Let's Go KNG!!

Lilmaya...Girl I know that feeling all too well. I think we have had the same feeling of dispair. I am thankful that I have finally heard something more but I know exactly what you are feeling girlfriend. I have spent so much money in the last 2 years going back and forth to Jamaica soothing those feelings and it has taken a financial toll on my right now and I prayed to the heavenly Father for something to happen my file because I knew I would not be able to go back again for now. All I can tell you is pray and pray girl. It is so sad when all we want is to be with our loved ones...Yes some of us have our children but we want the complete package. The only thing which is making this time a little easier for me is the fact that we have had some movement, well a big movement, but I miss hubby alot even though I saw him 2 months ago. Buy alot of phone cards this weekend and call hubby whenever your are feeling blue and think about the times you have spent together and the things you will be doing once he is here with your forever. I hope your spirits will be lifted somewhat ....I praying that KGN will give some ppl on here some good news before the office closes tomorrow for the Easter holidays.

ladyposh I try to be strong for my husband but he calls me his Cry Cry Baby because i'm failing miserably at it. Some days are better than others. He tries to be so strong and reassuring when i have bad days.. and then when he has a bad day... it breaks my heart so I cry too. LOL. Not helpful i know...
