Right now for me things are very bleak financially and I am hoping and praying that this dark cloud over me will break soon. I need some good news right now so anything from KGN will would great....I too have decided to order the CAIPS notes but I am wondering if I should wait until I speak to my MP's office again next week as they told me to call back after 1 month. I am thinking that since its election time maybe they will try and dig deeper for me to find out what's happening with our file.

Waiting----you are right this process will make anyone bonkers but it is so nice to have found this forum and trust me my time has been long but since I have been on here (Nov) it has honestly soffen??? the disappoints....lol

yup i hae to agree, when my hubby first started going on this site i couldnt even look at it cuz this whole process is very stressful for me, and seeing some ppl still havent heard nothing for a year that really discouraged me. But i do see why he comes on here now, it does make your days go by faster and does ease the tension and stress alot more!! thanks ladies

Welcome MrsLonelywife, Mrs Proper and Jaruby, you have both come to the right place. Yes this whole immigration process is quite stressful, and we can do is hold firm and know that God will work things out soon. But we all know too well that it is extremely hard especial when there is nothing any of us can do at this time about kgn.

I am praying that we start getting those call in this month too, because my relationship too is taking a beating financially and something needs to work out for us and soon.

mrslonelywifey we are so happy you found the forum too!! welcome. there is so much to learn from each individual immigration experience and so much comfort that can come from others going through the same difficult time! as everyone said kingston should have placed a 60 day bring forward date on your file. they will check at that time to see that you have paid and then continue to process at that time. they may need to contact you to update medical or anything else that is missing, schedule an interview or hopefully request a passport!

Mrs Proper: agreed! anything you can do to stop kingston from contacting you and putting that dreadful 60 day wait on your file... DO!! Seeing what people are going through with the long waits can definitely cause anxiety but i feel like i had that anxiety anyway... i find so much comfort in knowing i'm not alone in this. This forum has become my sanity. It gets me through some days i otherwise am not sure how i could.

ladyposh: I feel the same way. there are some incredible ups and some DREADFUL downs in this process. we are struggling emotionally, financially ... every way you can think of so some days more than others it's hard to stay positive. I think now is the best time to call an MP!!

I am almost done the photos....putting them labelled on the back...on white cardstock with one piece of tape so they are easily removable. Also labelling beside the photos. Alot of labels. I did it to show the timeline...as we've lived together since marriage and this is our life. Nearly three hundred photos...lol...immigration will either love me or hate me. But I felt i needed to since I can't get my phone records from when we were dating...and my computer crashed and I lost a HUGE amount of pics from when we were dating and the first couple months of marriage....managed to scrape up a fair amount by begging and borrowing off friends and searching through my facebook!!

Now I just have to finish a few essays on the paper work. But I have a question...does anyone know if the essay part has to be handwritten for the extra pages? Or can I type them..and just do the handwritten part on the actual form before I run out of room???

I'm filing on friday...and paying every last fee upfront. The originals you say to copy....are you referring to like birth certificates and all that? I am sending all originals, as well as two copies of each. Will that do??

I typed mine, be sure to add the names form number and question number to the documents. I think originals are wise, only because then they wont ask for them in future, and you already have 2nd copies. The orginals, I have heard most about is marriage, & birth.

Smoothies I wouldnt sent both copys of originals i think one copy each will do, im not sure if any paperwork go to KG from Canada I think only electronics, so they might request it again

Kingston doesnt follow a protocal they do as they please and its a surprise so just pray hard girl thats all we got to do, pray that good faith follows our application and bring it to a good IO.

but girls if you search this whole forum no stories are the same, just pray pray pray!!!! and send that application off........

Smoothies: use what ever name is on your pr card thats what immigration have on file, my name I used is my maiden name too and it didnt pose a problem for us. dont worry girl mind the grey hair
