My Peoples!!! Im so sorry my peoples!! I have left you guys for to long
Lets get straight to the landing story....
It all started friday night, July 8 2011.... I worked all day ( if you can say that, i showed up to work and watched the clock) After work my friend and i went to the grocery store for some things for a bbq my neighbour friend was having the next day to welcome my husband) We came home, I showered and got ready and before i knew it, it was almost 7:30pm. Off to the airport we go. ( my friend, her 12 year old son and myself... they all met at the wedding) Everyone was so excited for his arrival. We get to the airport and watch the board for the arrivals... flight from montego bay came in at 7:51pm. We stood around waiting, which felt like forever. My friend turned to me and said, " did you get him anything?" and i said " besides myself... like what?" she said "flowers... a sign ... anything" i said ..." flowers?... why would i get him flowers"? i spent the next 10 minutes looking around with my mind rushing, thinking ... " maybe i should get him flowers.... or mapyle syrup?" I quickly scanned the airport and saw the gift shop..... yes. yes. yes. I got him roses. :
we spent the next 15 minutes watching the door like a hawk.... ;D fast forward ;D we finally saw people coming out of the doors with the jamaican alcohol boxes and knew he was soon out... I suddenly got a text from my husband saying "im Here" and I replied " ME TOOO" a young jamaican boy... maybe 12 years old came out in a suit... his family who was waiting for him screamed , as i was watching this family reunion i heard what sounded like a 13 year old girl scream.... not even realizing it was my friend watching my husband come out of the doors.... I looked up and there he was laughing.... i jumped up and walked ( which felt like forever) to meet him at the end of the walk way.... we hugged... and hugged and kissed and hugged. It was so weird to look at him on canadian soil. For days after, I would look at him and say..." i cant believe you're here!!! ''
So far he likes it... he says its hot as hell here... hotter then Jamaica.
Escalators scare him, watching him jump on and off, amuse me.
He got his welcome to canada bag and info.
He starts work part time on Wednesday, the same day that I go back to work.
Its great.... my son is stuck to his hip... everything is blending in perfectly.
Thanks everyone!! ;D
Ill post some pics.... to make up for my lack of updates.
