Kedeisha : I would love to hear more about your wedding plans!! What are your colors going to be...how many people in your wedding party? Do you have people in Jamaica (besides hubby) helping you with things like flowers and decorations? Are you going down with lots of time before the wedding to finalize? TELL ALL!!

jahlove I too have been praying CONSTANTLY!! As for the MP, I have been emailing back and forth. When i first emailed him earlier in the month he had yet to be sworn in and said he didn't have a staff or an office but would be able to help in 3-4 weeks. It has been a day short of 3 weeks so I emailed again . We'll see. I'm moving July 1st so I'm asking for hubbies client number, since we have not received an AOR, so that I can update Kingston with our new address...which is admittedly (to you guys) mostly just an excuse cause I just need to know that they have our file!!!

thanks for asking wedding date is september 4th, I plan to go september 2nd my family is there i am in canada with my dad n 3 brothers but my mom side is all there so its best that i travel there. Wedding party is a little over 50 ppl small intimate plus other cost after its best that we do small colors are turquoise and brown; we have found a wedding planner last week as before my original date was June 26 but me n my sis who is there was planning it n the cost were too much now we have stumbled across the wedding planner well she is hubby 2nd mom sis so not stumbled but honestly wen he first came to me about her im like go back n get info as i didnt want to be charged more as they gonna assume foreign mek we charge more but she is a god send pckg works out better than our last 1 so i am excited plus buying my tix tomorrow so thats when i know its confirm sent hubby money to book hotel for venue so its all but sealed ;D my mom was to get married in a double wedding with me but she said she will allow me my day but either way i dont mind i wanna be there for her big day so it looks like my mom is the saturday n me the sunday as there is a 24 hr residency requirement to get married n marriages perform after 8 are not legal so sunday is my best day plus sunday is 9 mths from the first day that we met in person so its a significant date to us....i know married in less than a yr but i am ready

The Wedding plans seem to be coming together kedeisha, my wedding date was the a year to the day we met too!
lilmaya, u know!! reggae weapons, redeneck fists! I went to a hall party a few months back, i hadnt been to one in years, but it was my girls b-day, and well for some unknown reason we thought it was a good idea.. until the gunshots.. IM TOO OLD FOR THAT! nearly went into heart failure.. I could see the headlines * white girl, 35, attending hall party, was the oldest victim of gunfire, she leaves behind her, daughte 16, and hot hubby! NEVER AGAIN* we swore no matter how much fun we are having, we will not frequent after parties!!! Ths city is crazy!
Good luck witht he MP's people.. I was thinking myself to call, i havent recieved a AOR, i thought it may just flag us... who knows!

Kedeisha : Brown and turquoise is my new favorite combo!! That and brown and lime green! Good call!! 50 people is a great size for a destination wedding. I love that you and your mom are sharing the same weekend! Sounds so exciting! I can't wait to see pictures!!

Irving : That brings back some memories!! I bet we know some of the same people as the reggae crowd in AB is small. I remember the LAST one i went too.. one of my ex's friends shot a bullet into the wall right beside me when a bad man tune came on. ??? He couldn't see me because my feet were sore from wearing heels and i was squatting on the floor... so the bullet breezed by my face. Because the music was loud i didn't realize what happened... i just felt the drywall hit my arm and then saw the bullet hole. NEVER AGAIN!

oh lawd gun party i mean dancehall nope i had a bad experience went out for new yrs to a jam was dancing n then gunshot started firing me thinking this was jamaica n clappers so i was still dancing until i realize after that it was gunshot i told myself no more all age that was wen i want legal for clubs tho

noooo they should not be observing no US holiday but my hubby told me today a flag day its a military holiday not sure if any1 else observe it but the military which i doubt as he is off today n going to st.ann tomorrow
