Congratulations, I did my biometric January, from your timeline am hoping to get medical done next month, I wish everyone a smooth process as this one

How did they communicate to you that your application at AVO have started processing? Was it through email or GC key, cause I don't have a GC key and I got a word on 21th of January that my application was transferred to AVO and since then haven't gotten a world from AVO, will the start processing without telling me or I should be hoping to get a word from them?

We started processing ur application on 23rd December, 2019.
It appeared on ECAS not gckey

Ecas only shows u milestones on ur application but gckey is more detailed. Like all the letters i have recieved from IRCC was sent to my gckey. Updates appears first on gckey b4 u see it on ecas. Gckey gives u control of ur application, once u link ur application to gckey, all correspondence about ur application wld be coming to u instead of ur representative (if u have one). If u are requested for any additional document, u can upload it via gckey too. Anyone can access ecas, but u can't access gckey without linking ur application.

Hi everyone. I got approved to sponsor my nigerian husband and the application was sent out to Acrra. I need to create a gckey account so we can upload documents if needed or even check the status of our application but im wondering does my husband create this in his own name since it is him now applying for PR or do i create this somehow in my own name. It seems sensible for him to create it on the CIC website because its now his own application for PR. Those of you who have done this...does the sponsor create a gckey account or the spouse who is the actual applicant for permanent residence in canada. Im thoroughly confused. Please help
