I had come to Canada on a closed work permit in NOC Code 2171.
I have checked new TEER NOC against 2171 in the Canada.ca site and it shows 21222 along with several split offs NOCs like 21211, 21221, etc.
My job duties matches with 21222, but at the same time some of my job duties also matches with the NOC in split offs (like 21211).
I have completed one year and now creating my Express Entry profile.
Questions-
1? Can I pick the NOC showing in split offs like 21211? Not 21222.
Because in ONIP tech, 21211 is picked more often and 21222 is not picked up.
2) My work area is little wide in the same IT domain, and if needed my employer will support by giving the letter that I worked on some more duties in addition to the one in original NOC 2171 (one declared for my work permit), so that choosing the split off NOC like 21211 is justified. Now my question is whether the immigration officer will find the employer letter sufficient to prove the additional job duties if someone working on closed work permit?
Responses/suggestions/guidances will be much appreciated.
