the work permit take only 4 days to process
the confirmation letter takes 30 days, the only difference is that you have to pay a fee for a work permit

thats not true I got my confirmation letter in 5 days...

I went to service Canada on 2 June and they said i cant get sin because it was mentioned on my study permit that I am not authorized to work. So i went online and applied for confirmation for off campus work on cic website, i received the CIC Confirmation letter in 5 days and i went to Service Canada again and they gave me SIN in 15 minutes. They said i was the first to bring that letter so they made a copy of my letter to show other students I am from Conestoga college in Kitchener.
