New PR confirmation portal

June 26: Just to give you an update. I never received my second email but when i log in to PR portal last night,my profile was already there so i confirmed it and uploaded my photo. Just this morning i got my ecopr.

@Kevin2020 It means all the phases are considered pass and you will soon get portal e-mail. For me, it took a month from the moment all the steps passed to getting the first portal e-mail. Portal e-mail is for you to declare that you are in canada and upload photo and update address which will let IRCC to send your copr and pr card.

My photo and and address everything got accepted amd approved by ircc in the pR portal . Thank you so much everybody in this forum who had helped me alot. May you guys all hear good news soon . I will pray for guys

Can anyone confirm what should be Original entry date? I visited canada first time in 2012 on business visa(2 months only) .After which my passport got renewed in 2016.After which I am in Canda on WP since 2018.So Original entry date should be 2012 or 2018 one?

Can anyone confirm if only primary applicant need to respond to first portal email? or dependents also need to respond ?

I don't quite understand this. Do you mean that you never got an email notifying you that you got the e-copr?

Hi Folks,
I need you help. I received my eCOPR today and it says:
"
This letter does not replace the permanent resident card; you are still required to submit the documentation to obtain your permanent resident card. Please print a copy of this letter and send it along with one photo that meets our photo specifications to the address listed above. Please ensure that you write your unique client identifier (UCI) and name on the back of the photo. You do not need to sign the letter nor the photo. If your address has changed, please provide us with your current address
"
But I already submitted the photos through the portal as we know, what should I do ?

May I know how you know the login info if you didnt receive the second mail? Just curious

Anybody here faced this issue, please let me know what you did to resolve it! @legalfalcon please shed some light on this! Thank you.

i got ecopr on May 26th, signed it and applied online for SIN on May 31st . My GCkey account was not updated initially but later on June 19th it was updated to approved. I have not received my SIN yet so i called Service Canada and i got this baffling response : "your application is not processed yet because we are not able to validate your PR document with IRCC. SIN registry is still waiting to hear back from IRCC. The person on the call said IRCC has not updated your status in the IMMIGRATION SYSTEM!!!" which system are they talking about? my application is approved, have the copr, sevice ontario has issued me new healthcards...why cant service canada validate the document??? i am so confused on what to do next! would it help if i visit service canada personally....if yes, wat wud happen to my already in process online application?
