New PR card

i landed on june 1st, and they asked me to send new photos in oct, i sent in photos in Nov, still no card for me.

Now lets see if i can get my card after one year of landing!

there is some thing wrong with people whos ent their photos around october november time..no body I know who sent their photos after oct 15th has gotten their card yet.

I think we really need to do some thing about this. ..this amount of time that we have to wait is getting too long

hopefully our applications are not lying some where unforgotten

i think we need to write a letter to pr card centre..any body has any experience with that in the past?

I am in the same situation... and I have written a letter , sent it to the Processing Centre (about 2 months ago) and have received nothing. No help from the Call Center either as for all of you.

And I was told that the waiting period starts from 0 when you submit new photos... so we have to wait for the whole waiting period

Guys,

I sent a case specific inquiry two weeks ago to CIC regarding my issue (I landed in 25th July, they asked for new photos for my kid's PR card application in October and I sent them new ones by 1st of November), they replied by this:

"Thank you for contacting Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).

Please note we have received your document.

If further information is needed, the responsible office may contact you. "

I wonder what does this reply mean??!

hi r tamimi,

thanks for that update. I think what that means is dnt worry about ur photos not being received etc. they have received your photos and will ask you if they need anything else.

like even i am worried if they even received my photos. may be i should do the same. how did you send them a case specific enquiry? can you please guide me?

is it that form where they give u a list of options as to why you are sending enquiry. i remember there were only options for pr card renewal and replacement but nothing for new pr card. what should i put in that option?

Landed 31st October 2015 and got my PR CARD today Allhumdullilah no photo retake not AOR email they just directly sent
it took 97 days if anyone needs help leme know!

When I sent them the inquiry I picked (pr card renewal and replacement) option.

The processing time for new PR Cards has gone down drastically somehow.. Dow to 73 days as of this moment!!
