New PR Card Waiting Time

Hello Everyone,

I don't know if there are any existing threads to track this. I am starting this to keep an eye on the processing timeline for the new PR card.

These threads are typically found in the section of the forum dealing with the immigration program you immigrated through. Right now it seems to be taking around 2 month - but of course processing times go up and down.

I landed on November 22 and got my PR card in the mail exactly 8 weeks later. I think the holidays slowed things a bit.

Thanks Tina! Do you recall what was the processing time for new PR card, when you did the landing? Its 49 days and CIC updates it every two weeks.

It was exactly 8 weeks from the day we landed, November 20. At that time, CIC was averaging 53 days. It came in 56 days. We landed at Blaine, Washington, near Vancouver.

My daughter has received her PR card but my husband and I are still waiting. Has any one experienced this! Regards

Landed January 21st - PR Card arrived today (March 3)

Exactly 6 weeks. Was told 4-6 weeks by CBSA at the land border.
