With so many new pathways, getting PR in this country got easier than it was at least five years ago.
Right now? Yes. If you're in Canada, are relatively young and educated getting a CEC invite right now is a breeze, and if you don't have a skilled job now you also have a chance. But, shortly before Covid cutoff scores had been skyrocketing for a bit:

130 | November 13, 2019 | No program specified | 3600 | 472 |
129 | October 30, 2019 | No program specified | 3900 | 475 |
138 | March 04, 2020 | No program specified | 3900 | 471 |

136 | February 05, 2020 | No program specified | 3500 | 472 |
Now, compare the above to the scores from early 2019. 438? 440? FSW-inclusive draws haven't seen those low scores again and I doubt that with the upcoming EE changes we'll go back to those scores.
