New Passport post COPR

I have received COPR & 1st time entry visa on current passport and my Indian passport is getting expired and hence, needed to renew it.
If my passport gets renewed before the 1st entry to Canada, would it have any effect on my PR application. How can I inform Canada immigration about new passport details?

Can you please share advice what can be done in such a scenario. Thank you very much

I would like to know about it too.
I believe it's OK to show both new passport + old/expired passport with the COPR to do the landing.
Can anyone confirm if it's ok to do that? I'd really appreciate it.
