Usually they will send out muna yun Pre arrival. for my understanding its a generic email everyone rec'd before the final decision. Medical should be completed and approved then PPR after. Goodluck!!!

Hello po! September 27 2017 narecieved ng CIC ung application namin ng mga anak ko! I have 2 kids n sasama sa akin. Is true n matatagalan ang pagprocess kung may kasamang mga bata ages 1 yr old and 8 yr old?
I hope i can get one soon if it is a generic email for everyone to receive. Been waiting for eight months now. Nov 30 applicant here. My BGC is in process now.
Just sharing my Timeline with everyone.
As per CIC website. it may take up to 6 months to 1 year for spousal application. I'm the sponsor living in Canada.
May2017 - Application Submitted
June2017 - Sponsorship application approved and completed.
July 2017 - Request for NBI clearance and Police Certificate for the primary applicant/dependents
July 2017 - Rec'd NBI clearance and police report.
August 2017 - Request for Scheduled A background.
August 2017 - Scheduled A and NBI/Police clearance rec'd and completed
September 2017 - Application sent to Manila Visa Office for the Primary Applicant
September 2017 - Medicial Request for the primary applicant/dependents
October 2017 - Medical request completed.
December 2017 - 2nd Medical requested.
Janauary 2018 - 2nd Medical completed and submitted
Febuary 2018 - Medical result in progress
March 2018 - Background check started
May 2018 - Medical Passed
June 2018 - Background check completed
June 2018 - Final decision made ( as per GCkey )
July 2018 - Passport Request
July 2018 - Passport Stamped and rec'd within 3 days
July 2018 - PDOS orientation completed
It took 1 year and almost 2 months for everything to be completed and approved. Keep praying guys, be patient. Don't forget to keep checking your GCkey for any important updates and don't miss any deadlines from CIC officer. You can always contact them for additional updates. If you are living in canada and sponsoring your spouse (Outland) it'll be much more easier to communicate with CIC if you are the representative. I'm December applicant, wala tlgang update. Last I received is the pre arrival letter last June 5. Until now still waiting .
It's ok Same here,last update is May 9 when they start checking my background after i received the pre-arrival on May 3..i am a november applicant..
Sana mgstart nah ang background checking s application ko . And hopefully DM nah. Kakafrustrate nah tlg sobrang tagal.
Just found out that there was a Feb 2018 applicant MVO got their PPR already last week of July.
Yes i also heard from my husband that his friend got their visa already and they are January 2018 applicant..medyo nakakalungkot lang na some of us here have to wait longer Anyway God has His perfect timing for each of us.Let's keep on praying.
Can everyone tell me bout their new NBI clearance the latest one. My new NBI clearance is color blue paper . And it says NO RECORD ON FILE. And the purpose is MULTI-PURPOSE CLEARANCE. when I ask them why not put for IMMIGRATION PURPOSES sabi lng ito nah dw tlg ang bagong NBI CLEARANCE wala n dw Yung SPECIFIED PURPOSES .
ganyan na din yung samin, multipurpose na sya (bakit ba kase naging dalawang klase dati). Although, di ko sure yung "NO RECORD ON FILE", wala bang nakalagay na "No derogatory record" yan nakalagay samin e, baka binago na din.
May I know when kah ngkuha ng NBI clearance? Kc when I ask them why no NO DEROGATORY RECORD sabi skin wala na dw yun. NO RECORD ON FILE n dw ang nilalagay .
