Ehhh un po, si hubby late register ung kanya, one of the proof na nakalagay dun eh photocopy ng old passport, baptismal, hospital record, birth certificate issued from local civil registry.

We are so desperate as a family right now. Our application in which I am the sponsor to sponsor my wife to Canada (which is now with the Manila office) has exceeded 12 months. We are both living in Hong Kong right now, the reason the application was sent to Manila was because my wife is a Filipino citizen. We desperately need a decision to be made because I am bringing my son to Canada in a few weeks time for school and he isn't fond of the idea of having to separate with his mom.

We have an agent, we've tried everything to ask the immigration to speed up the process but with no response. I think at this stage I am just desperate to speak with anyone. Do you guys know if there is a number to call? If not, is it worth it to physically go there to the Canadian consulate in makati city in hopes to speak with anyone? I think what I need is someone to talk to, there are so many things that an email can't describe. I realized here is a number to call on the website but that one seems only for "within" Canada? Anyone knows more about this or is in roughly the same boat?

Any advice is welcome.

Thanks all

Sorry to hear that you have been waiting over 12 months now to get a decision made for the sponsorship you filed, You should still be able to contact your MP even if you have a representative. You should also request notes but use a Canadian contact number and address when you do so.

If you don't mind sharing your timeline, please?

Thanks

Bale MC and AOM po.

Opo, requirements yun kasi philippine passport holder po kayo. So mag apply po kayo ng cenomar, but then married na po kayo so ang lalabas po na result eh yung advisory on marriage (AOM)
