Under po kayo ng Spousal Sponsorship? I am also being asked of additional documents exactly same as yours although yung sa kin with new AOMs and new NBIs. May name discrepancy kasi sa BC ko. You have an idea po bakit kayo hinihingan ng documents that you mentioned?

If specifically mentioned ang "Legible", Ok lang po yan thru email or thru your online account.

"This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

Subsection 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act establishes that a person who makes an
application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must
produce all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires.
In order to continue processing your application, we require the following information and/or
documentation:

Client Information: Legible copy of your baptismal certificate, voter's ID or any valid
government-issued ID, secondary/highschool transcript of records or Form 137."

Yes, I am sponsoring children as well. I had ordered the notes a couple of weeks ago, but then got an email saying my wife needed to fill out a consent form. The consent form got emailed off yesterday. So hopefully in a few weeks we can see what's happening.

Her medical is set to expire in a few weeks. And in mid May, we will be at a year. At that point, I plan to involve my MP to try to figure out where the delay lies. So much for Trudeau's promise of expedited family reunification.

I know its a lot more complicated when children are being sponsored as well which is normal protocol. For the family reunification promise that was only set out for parents abroad and spouses i think the protocol is the same for children. But i believe theyre usually good with trying to fit the time in according to medical! Maybe contact your MP now to let them know your medical will expire give them the heads up so they can start looking into it.

My application is still being processed (I'm a December 2016 applicant) but I already attended GCP a year ago and already got a certificate from CFO. We were then told that once we (or, I) have a visa, all we have to do is exactly what I just mentioned to you earlier :-)

what if she lost her receipt that she got ? will she need to redo the whole cfo guidance and counseling ? and what does not make sense the website makes the pdos and GCP totally different things and has to be attended. and from what i can understand you have to attend both of those to be able to leave ..... this whole process is stressing me out

May discrepancies ba sa app mo? They're asking this to cross-check your initially submitted application.

Ano ung discrepancies sis? Like?

Like may mali sa name mo?

Panung mali sis? Like mali ang spelling? Kasi lahat naman same tlaga. :(

English please :)

I think the important thing is the Certificate. It's a solid proof that she already attended the counselling program. I mentioned receipt because my batch mate at CFO last year who already left for Canada early this month, told me that when she went back to CFO for the sticker on her passport, she was also asked for the payment receipt. The COPR, aside from your wife's passport and CFO Certificate, is very important :-)

Haha. GCP is for applicants whose spouses are Foreign Nationals/Citizens. PDOS is for applicants whose spouses are still Filipino Citizens. She doesn't have to attend both. If you're a Canadian Citizen already then your wife only has to attend the GCP. Just show the certificate if the receipt cannot be found anymore.

thank you very much, and for added info. we have conditional 51 yuck lol.. even tho we will be in a relationship for 3 years this august. and also they spelled my last name wrong on her copr . my wife is fine. but just the sponsor last name even tho we have same name...it's the same spelling mistaken they did when i got sponsor approval and i wrote to them several times to correct it and they said it was added to the file but i guess they never corrected my last name in the system ...hoping it doesn't bar her from landing in canada because they got the sponsors part of the last name wrong

What is Condition 51? Any relation to Area 51? I'll be honest, this all does feel like the Twilight Zone...so it would make sense.

Eh no worries baka kac okay na ung papers mo kaya no additional na. Mas okay nga yun. Ako eto namomroblema baka nga may something wrong sa papers namin kaya ganyan may request for Additonal Docs :-[ :-[

Wala naman yan sis. Submit na lang what is asked agad. :)

Yes I will sis submit ko agad.

Kaya ang sinulat ko yung First Name and Last Name ko lng.

I did not write mine, too. Wala namang problema.
