i kinda asked this but i think i may have been misunderstood. my wife will have to travel to vfs in makati to drop off her passport.... my question is are you only dropping it off and you're out within a few minutes. or will it take several hours to do ? experiences only

It took me 1 hour to wait for my queue number, but less than 5mins in the counter where they check the documents. I got there noon time so there were a lot of people already. Make sure your wife has the correct picture's size otherwise the agent will direct her to the mall close by to have her picture done and it will take her another hour or so to collect it as they have many customers mostly coming from VFS that have rejected pictures too. Oh and they don't allow bags inside VFS, just wallets & envelopes. One has to rent a locker for 70pesos to keep their bags if they don't have any companions.

just out of curiosity how close is the mall ? she will have companions with her but since they won't be allowed to enter with my wife. also the payment for the fees, does it have to be in exact peso or can you give more and they will give back the change ?

Its just less than 10mins drive with slight traffic.. I saw there's some jeepneys outside too going to Southgate mall. Some even said they just walk but for me its quite a distance to walk in such a very hot day! What I did was..I had my pictures done first at Fuji in that mall before I headed to VFS.
For the fees, it's not necessarily exact amount, they will give back change.

Question po.. Are there any fees to pay at the airport before flying? Like the travel tax? I hope none as we will be leaving not as tourist so travel tax should be waived...
