Your timeline is similar to my wife and children. We are still waiting too.

We have similar timeline. March 23, 2016 received app, may 18,2016 started processing..Asked some documents (BC ,MC) and RPRF fee that we have already with my application (upfront). And it took 3-4 months before we heard from them.. and asked my CSQ that supposed to be the quebec will send them my copy..in my ecas last update was nov 23.. in Mycic IP already (BC) feb 24,2017. Pre arrival emails 3x (eligible). And yes im so desperate too.. but we can't do anything i guess. More patience and have Faith..

It is all very frustrating. I haven't seen my wife in person for over a year. I haven't traveled over, thinking this process could be done at any time, so wait. I expected this to be done by now. I am planning a trip to Tagum in mid June now. I worry that I will go in June, and then a few weeks later we will finally get our approval. I have tried to forget about this process, and then wait for a surprise...and that was working until they made 2 requests for more information in late October. Since then, that is all we have been thinking about.

Hello,

Is there any December Applicant who got documents request Already? I am December applicant and no news since SA. Still can't link. :( :(

Thanks

Hi :) I've reading this thread for awhile now (and thank you to everybody especially Survivor27 and prvc because all of your suggestions/ideas are helpful and correct!).

I am a December (22) applicant and no, I haven't got any update yet.

Good luck po sa lahat and hopefully makasama na natin ang mga mahal natin sa buhay as soon as possible.

God bless us all :)

Totally understand this feeling. It's been almost 12 months for me and I just don't know what to feel anymore. The whole thing is just draining. By the way, is there a number to call to inquire? Also has anyone here tries applying for a tourist visa ?

Definitely contact your MP!! You should have received some sort of update by now. Have you checked mycic? Under your circumstances I believe it is ok for you to contact immigration as its approaching one year. But from your timeline it does not seem to follow the standard speed of the process, it seems a lot slower. Are you sponsoring children as well?

Use PA's information. What worked for me was to enter all information needed (passport info, place of birth, etc). Try that too. Try 2 or 1, if you have children, add them.. so try 3 or 4..

Do you know if both the sponsor and the PA can be signed up to the same account to be able to view the information in CIC?

Ok. We both have our own GC key, but both have the account linked to each of our GC Key. I know she doesn't look at it very often, whereas I have become somewhat obsessive about looking at that, and ECas.
