The Medical Surveillance Undertaking form [IMM 0535B] (Part A – sections 1-11) must be completed overseas by the visa or immigration officer. The applicant must present the IMM 0535 form at the port of entry (POE) upon arrival to Canada to ensure that proper medical follow-up takes place.

We ordered notes about a week ago, but that takes up to 31 days according to the ATIP website.

On myCIC it says Review of eligibility - Review in Progress
Review of medical results - Passed
Scheduling an interview - Not needed at this time
Background check - In Progress
Final Decision - Not Started

OH MY GOODNESS!!! - I just checked on ECAS and it says:
Permanent Resident Application Status - Decision made!!!

- when I click the Decision made link it only shows:
We received your application for permanent residence on October 17, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

Very excited now!!!

Hello!

I got a new message from MyCIC and it says "MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE UNDERTAKING", and "Final decision-This application has been approved".

I am so happy just that, what it means when my medical condition is under surveillance? Lahat ba ng new comers may ganitong medical request pagdating sa Canada? Salamat po! Good luck everyone!

How do they request for the passport? Is it thru email or will they call you?

im not sure what medical surveillance undertaking means though..

Salamat po sa inyong dalawa at sa mga sasagot po! I know now bakit may ganito ako, during my medical kasi sa St. Lukes Ermita, 1 week ako nagpabalik balik don just to comply with their findings na may blurd something sa lungs, then they had me the sputum tests and it lasts for 3 months monitoring and found out negative, so, dala ko pa pala sa Canada ang burden na yan! Ang dami namin nong time na yun. Anyway, I thank God, I am done and approved, just waiting for my passport to return and will then book a flight. Salamat sa inyong lahat and good luck! We will all surely make it great til the end of the process.

Usally po they will send you email asking for the passport and some other requirements. It's like when you receive your AOR's. GOod luck po!

That's right! Goodbye LDR! Now, I have the go signal to resign at work and book a flight. Just waiting for the visa to finalize everything. This forum is really the best and very informative. I just hope lahat ng pinoy ganito magtulungan. I am so proud of everyone here. It's a big family. Siguro ang saya kung may grand reunion ang mga tao dito pag lahat na nasa Canada! hahaha...
