Ay ganon ba!!! Yung sa kin kc na received yata ni hubby wala man 45 days eh! Nakatagal lng talaga dahil hindi ang MIDI nag bigay ng copy sa VO manila kaya hiningan ako.. naku magkalapit lng tyo, si hubby st hubert sya.

I heard nga na before June quick processing pa ang CSQ, after that 3-4 months na. I dont know if now back to normal na sila. I dont know the places in montreal yet as ive never been there. If magkalapit lng tau, hope to see u there para may filipino friend na ako kaagad ... Canadian french kc hubby ko kaya puro mga frenchy ang social & family circle nya.

Anyone here na nag order ng gcms notes before and then Recommend passed ang eligibility, Medical passed, but Criminality & Security not started. Gano katagal paghihintay from that update until PPR? I got mine updated Jan. 23 with the recommend passed status.
Too bad that I have no access to mycic as i have a consultant. Sana BC in progress na at ppr na soon!

May tanong po pala ako, if ever na makuha na ang passport with visa on it, pwede na ba ako mag renew ng passport dito sa atin instead na sa canada pa? I've heard medyo malayo sa Winnipeg ang renewal ng Philippine passport. Magkakaron po kaya ng problema if ever na may butas na ang old passport ko na may Canadian Visa? Salamat po!

Any time soon to a month. One member here ganyan din, Recommended Passed na then kaka-PPR lang din. Once mag-BG IP ka, days na lang bibilangin mo.

Thanks prvc.. hoping & praying I will get good news soon as my medical expires on Apr.15! One more thing is my NBI clearance will expire in March, so im wondering if may tendency that they will ask for a new one.

March? Is it the 6-month mark or 1 year? Mine reached its 6-month mark last Feb.5, but as of now, they haven't asked for a new one. I still renewed it anyway. If it will expire before you are given the visa, they might ask for a new one. But let's hope not.

Your COPR should match your passport, that's what I know. Kailan ba mag-eexpire ang passport mo?

If you decide to renew it before you land, you would need to contact CIC first, then they'd have to amend the COPR with your new passport details.

May 2018 pa naman, mabuti po pala naitanong ko kasi am planning to renew it na, mabuti din wala ng sched sa DFA manila May na ang mga available dates nila. Probably what I should do is to renew it in Canada pag nandon na lang ako, In God's time. Salamat prvc, always informative! THE BEST!

Kakasal Lang po namen ng hubby ko which is a Canadian citizen. Meron po akong 7 year old boy with my x boyfriend . Ung husband ko naman po may anak din cya sa previous partner nia dito sa po as same age po sila ng anak ko. i would like to seek for some advices po sana.
- is it a good idea that we process the papers of my son and stepson the same time with my application

Pinoy/Canadian ba si hubby mo? If he is, when sya naging can-citizen?

As for your son, he is your dependant when you apply for PR. If he is accompanying you, sabay kayo mabibigyan ng COPR once a decision is made.

About your stepson, if your husband is indeed Pinoy-Canadian or pure Canadian, there is no need for him to sponsor his son because the latter is considered Canadian na din. He just need to file Certificate of Citizenship at the embassy. Once the certificate is available, pwede nya na pagawan ng Canadian passport.

Super excited na prvc, pero di pa ako totally makacelebrate at di ko pa masabi sa mga kaopisina ko kasi wala pa ang visa sa kamay ko! pigil na pigil lang, hehehe! Salamat po sa inyo, atleast dito ko nailalabas ang lahat ng feelings ko, hahaha!

1. You can renew your Philippine passport in Winnipeg when the Toronto Consular has their outreach team visit the city every once in a while. You have to keep an eye on their website and book an appointment.

2. By the looks of it, you already have your PPR. If that is the passport you're worried about, get here and apply for the PR Card, then renew the passport and you should be fine to enter and leave Canada.
