My husband just got the PPR email! Cheesy We have 30 days to submit the passport and Appendix B documents. We will have someone personally drop it off at the VAC. Would anyone know if my husband would have to land here before his medical certificate expires? We were hoping to take a nice vacation in August but his Med Cert expires August 8th.

Good luck to everyone and congratulations to all! It's great that they're moving things nicely.

Hello, not sure which one is the AOR2 -- The one that replied saying they received the application was (frc) -- The recent one asking for the passport is (VT)

Background check was in process just recently. January 27 it was still not started. We submitted the additional documents before the end of January.

Hi. Congratulations!! Usually one year from the date of medical exam ang expiry ng COPR.

What is COPR? Copy of PR? So they'll base it on that date? I haven't booked my flight yet just in case.. so if ever, we'll just follow whatever is the expiry date on the passport when they return it.. Thank you!

Hi everyone, I'm new here and I'm not sure if I'm on the right place to ask this question, but I would like to try. I'm newly married to a Filipino Guy, and I'm a Canadian citizen. We are both living here in Quezon City, and we are planning to start my hubby's spousal application ASAP. However, our marriage certificate is still not registered in NSO/PSA. I already tried to ask Civil Registry to give an endorsement letter, but they told me that they dont do that and I have to wait for months before we can request for marriage cert from NSO/PSA. Now, my question is, can I use our marriage cert issued from Civil Registry?

Hello! Similar timelines! We just submitted the documents a few days before you. We had someone deliver it to the office (the cert of marriage) and we emailed the info on the same day. Good luck to you both!! The email notification is enough to make your heart skip a beat!

We needed to submit the opposite of the CENOMAR -- Basically it was a request for a CENOMAR but it would show a Certificate of Marriage (different pa pala from a marriage certificate!!) and we needed to fill in about 11 months worth of personal history that we totally overlooked. :P

COPR means Confirmation of Permanent Residence.. :) Yeah, just wait for the actual VOH before you book your flight. One week na lang naman nyan VOH na kayo.

Oh wow! Last na po, VOH is Visa of ----?? haha! So many terms to remember!!
