I see! Is one slower than the other? It seems we've submitted around the same time. Good luck to us and hopefully things move quickly and in our favour.. ;D

i guess not. cause there are some cases na iba ang VO sa AOR2 at PpR so i pray na maging smooth processing ntn pra maksma na natn mahal ntn sa buhay

I hope so too...but please remember our normal processing time is 12 months..if we get
it early praise god...when i was sponsored i waited for 2 years...so sana be patient
pag na stress ka magkakasakit ka lang ...just keep praying and god will answer
your request in his time...

banana,

Is the AOR2 just an email that the eligibility is in process? I think ours was received a while back in November? The first email was received in October saying they approved me as a sponsor. In November it was an email that my husband's papers were forwarded to Manila. Now we've got the email that we need an Advisory of Marriage and lacking a few months in his personal history.

Thank you so much for your response.

Kayo din po hiningan din pala! Was this just recently din? We got the email January 10th. We rushed to get a marriage certificate kahit nagpadala kami nun in the original package but now reading the original email from FRC, there was an indication of Marriage certificate and Advisory of marriage. We thought it was the same thing. I'm on the PSA website http://psa.gov.ph/civil-registration-page and I cannot find the Advisory of Marriage there. How did you get yours?

kailan po nasend ung email to pass aDvisory and addtional info for your husband?it means po na processing ang papers nyo. the only email i got after sponsor approval was the transfer of papers to manila from missasagua stating that i need to pay RPRF or landing fee and mag pass ng Advisory on Marriage other than that naisubmit na po namin upfront ung papers na states sa AOR2(email sent to you pag natransfer na ang papers sa Mvo for further processing).so advise ko is mag pass lang po kau ng nirerequire na additional docs and pray that the Lord will do the rest.☝in his perfect time po makukuha dn ntn PPr na hnihintay ntn. under dn po kami kay FRC pero wala pa po kmi nakukuhang update since Nov when we got AOR2☝

Thank you dp0716, we are going to request for the cenomar now and that should, from what I understand, automatically give us the Advisory of Marriage. Where and how did you submit your original documents? Sa VFS po?

OH. Saamin po nakalagay:
All requested documents, unless specifically instructed to submit an original should be sent as an email attachment to MANILAIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca ...etc.

Eh the AoM was indicated as Original PSA -- so I guess we have to submit through VFS. :(

You're welcome! One can actually get the AOM at a PSA's office nearby within the same day. You must also follow the instructions given by your VO about its submission.

Yes, will do. Initially was confused why we are supposed to submit documents to VFS and not to the embassy itself, but I guess it's just protocol and will make sure to follow email instructions properly.

Thank you!!
