Hi! Need your advice..

Got an email regarding my PR application asking me to submit some documents, 2 photos and my passport thru a Visa Application Center (VAC). My application is being processed in Manila but I am currently working in Qatar. I found one VFS Global office (VAC) here in Qatar but when I asked them, they said that my documents will be sent to Abu Dhabi. I am worried that this will have a problem with my application since all my papers are being processed in Philippines. I only got 30 days to submit. I am now confused where to send my documents. Can I send it in Qatar VAC or should I send it to Philippines VAC through a representative? Thanks in advance!

sis/bro taga doha ako delimma ko yan. I spoke sa VFS dito dyan sa may jarir sa old airport road. Sabi nila via abu dhabi yan. Dalhin lang letter. In my opinion ah,visa to visa office issue yan and you can call the manila visa office for quick response. Pero I have a friend nagapply visit visa pa canada, took her 2 weeks lang after matatakan sticker nya. though she filed here in doha.
Let me know solution din kasi i will be also on same path as you continue your applcation. but rest assured ill be backing up you in prayer that it will be a smooth transaction for you and your wife/husband.
God bless

Update for this topic:

I spoke with VAC qatar, they told me if in the email there's no designated VAC, you can send it to VAC qatar. If there is, you have to send it with the specified VAC mentioned in the email. If still in doubt email the Manila Visa Office. For VAC qatar, they confirmed from their end that they will send your passport in Abu Dhabi Visa Office and not in Manila VAC.

Same thing happened to us. Late na din namin nakita email nila pero sinubmit pa din namin kailangan isubmit. Better late than never. pag di mo naman nasubmit before deadline, may possibility lang na medyo tumagal processing ng papers. Who knows what happens pag di nyo nasubmit at all...

Yes for sure. Did you also just submit it throught the email they provided?

Thanks for all who replied

On the letter or email that you received, did it mention Sponsor's BC or it says "if applicable"? There was one member here who posted a copy of the email they received and if I remember it right, it said BC of "Sponsored and Sponsor (if applicable)". My understanding of "applicable" is that if the Sponsor is already a citizen, there's no need to send the BC. But for PR, that I am not sure. Let's wait na lang for others, esp PR sponsors if they still had to send their BC. Anyone please?

Yes I think it's only for filipino citizens including the sponsor if still a PR. So I think I for sure needed to submit it. I submitted it right away last week.

Thanks for all the replies

Yeahhh... I totally understand. At ilang beses ko talaga binasa yung checklist kung requirement ba yung BC ng sponsor before kami nagpasa pero 100% sure ako na wala kaya di ko na din siya nilagay. Pero isubmit mo na rin siguro ngayon para sure.

Yes. It's crazy. I was reading all the requirements over and over before I submitted everything pero nagkakapalpak parin. I submitted the BC na. Hopefully, we're still on the right track.

Hi. As per my sister's experience and other friends, they dont submit their BCs. No problem at all. Got an AOR2 last August 2, 2016. Same email as yours. We didnt bother about the BC. I'm the sponsor anyway. And as per legal advice of my friend's agent, it is not necessary.

mine was jan 2016 and it was only AOR and they asked for my husband employment certificate since he was in Military...would it make any difference with the way they check his background since that was his field or it will be the same processing period which is 13 months? u have any idea about it?
