The way I understand it, they will ask for your passport and then you will get your passport back together with the COPR. I can't say for sure if that applies to all cases though. I assume you hold a Philippines passport?

I forgot to let you know that I'm not a Philippine citizenship, but my application was sent to Manila office.

I have question: did you send your passport to manila visa office? or the nearest visa office? In my case kasi once they ask for my passport for stamping, the nearest visa office to me is abu dhabi in UAE and the stamping of sticker roughly a week sa visa office na yun, and yun vfs dito sa doha is abu dhabi yun tinatapunan nila documents

may ka chat ako dito sa forum october applicant silang tatlo. yung isa voh na siya ng july. yung pangalawa last week lang nag ppr peru wala silang dependent. yung pangatlo still waiting for ppr kasi may dependent siya. im stressful kasi wala naman akung dependent peru ang tagal ng ppr. sana talaga dumating na pra matapos na lahat ng october applicant.

ang gcms notes, ay diary nang kung ano ginagawa nang visa officers sa application mo. don mo makikita yun notes nya at nasan na yun papers mo, kung na kaput away status (meaning may hinintay sya approval from main officer mo sa cpc-m, or may wait na document sayo) , dito mo makita kung ano na status nang elligibility mo, kung review required, recommended interview, recommended pass or pass ka na. Dito mo din makita kung yun criminality mo if in progress, not started or passed na since parallel sya sa elligibility mo, meaning if elligibility pass, saka magpass yun criminality mo. Now for security, naman it will show you not started or if meron nang s.15(1) status, that means tapos na security mo. Then finally medical mo, kung not started, or passed ka na. The thing is ,the most important part is the notes where the visa officer will put their feedbacks, which includes if real or bonafide yun relationship nyo nang spouse nyo o kaya naman, ano pa yun documents na needed nila sainyo,like additional data for proving genuine relationship, ie passport request, ie police clearance. andon lahat, makita mo doon more than the IN PROGRESS SA ECAS or IN PROGRESS sa myCIC link online.

It will give you also an idea if ano stage ka na nang processing, and when do you expect a passport request. kasi makita mo din doon kung kelan nila buksan documents mo lalo pag naka put away documents mo.

Hello po! I have a lot of questions po at sana matulungan niyo po ako

1. Original Copy po ba ng eMedical form and isusubmit or pwedeng scanned copy?
2. Pwede po ba ilagay sa box ung application namin? Hindi po kasi magkasya sa long folder kahit pa expandable ung folder ayaw pa rin magkasya Nagbawas na nga po ako ng 100plus pages eh kasi baka umabot ako ng 4kilos LOL. (Photos together-225 pages, Wedding-21pages, Reception-45pages,Communication-89pages, Greetings-19pages) So ano po magandang gawin ko? Paghiwalayin ko nlang po ng folders?
3. Kelangan po bang isubmit ung IMM 3905?
4. Ok lang po gumamit ng correction tape? sa mga pages lang naman ng pictures namin ko gagamitin at hindi po sa mga official forms.
5. Ilang visa photos po ang sinubmit ninyo?

so ayun that's the benefit of this forum, i learned from IamBule, Eagle333 and some seniors here what was the benefit of gcms notes. It gave me a picture of what my visa officer is doing. That's why I highly encourage everyone instead of sending email to cic manila and asking how was the application, check first your gcms notes.

Lol, that's my problem. dito aq sa pinas. my husband kc he is not into this kind of stuff. mas ok sana if pwde tumawag to request. kahit ung sa option C nya. told him he can request on CRA site. buti na lng pwede pa rn tumwag sa CRA line to request.

Hi! Tanong ko lang po kung isasubmit ko pa ba yung old passport ko kasi andun yung visa stamp ko from abroad andun po yung sa old passport ko na nagwork ako abroad. Kapaparenew ko lang kasi nung January.. Ako po yung principal applicant. Maraming salamat
