Ko last na ih Sept2015, kaya talagang nauubusan na ako ng patience hahah. pero no choice ih
kakabaliw haha

Hi Huwawei, haha. June 9 applicant ako po. Then, ngrequest sila saking additional docs nung Aug27 (NBI & Police Clearance). I have submitted both on 15th Sept and they received it on 17th Sep. So far, wala ng update after nian. At times, para bang ung feeling na hinde mo alam anu ba nagyayare, but yes, we have to be more patient. Sabi nga nila, convert your worries to prayers. Pero true nakakabaliw na minsa. BWahahah! Mag expire na medical ko sa 17th May 2016. So we'll see kung they will require me for a re-medical or iissue nila VISA q sa lalong madaling panahon. Haha! Sana iissue na lng nila before my Medical get expired eh.

Hello po mga kabayan

just wondering if its normal not to get the line saying "we started processing you application on xxxx" in ecas?

here's our timeline:

App received Jan 5 2016
SA Mar 3 2016

PR side showed "in process" on Mar 6 2016 and shows 2 lines:

1.We received xxxxxxx application for permanent residence
2.Medical results have been received.

nothing has changed since Mar 6.

maybe those 2015 applicants can comment? did most get that line saying "we started processing" or those who didn't get that line but still had progress with their app?

Thank you po

thank you.... I feel scary to travel alone coz its my first time actually.. dont know what to do.. God, help me for my travel next week. I hope i can find here a friend those who are living also in montreal... pwd tayo magkita2 doon if you have a time. salamat.

It took nearly 3 weeks after SA for the 3rd line to show up, Manila VO is very slow, so don't worry yet.

It's normal to feel scared because it's your first time. Always pray. Don't assume and always ask if you need to. Take care of your personal belongings lagi. Have a safe journey! Cheers!

Yeah, nakakapraning kase meron nauuna magka VISA as compared sa timeline mo. So hinde na natin alam tlga ung standard na processing. Pag gising mo, magbabasa ka agad ng emails only to find out mga spam emails at kung anu anung promo na sinesend sayo. Haha! Kapraning talaga. Sa GCMS notes po, detailed dun ung araw na natanggap nila papers mo. When nila natanggap ang additional requirements mo. When nila nireview. Anung findings. Basta detailed cia. Para at least my idea ka anu nagaganap. Hehe

helo, keep waiting in a days you will have it. We have the situation but few days after i received ny prv.. I was very lucky!!
anyway, I am May 20, 2015 applicant and i received my prv last march 2,2016.
Be patient. time will come and you will have it. Keep praying!

Travelling can be nerve wracking your first time alone, but for the most part it's not so bad :)

1. Keep any valuables on your person, (don't put laptops/cellphones/etc in checked luggage).
2. Like anywhere theft is possible, so just be aware, don't leave your bags unattended.
3. While most airports are fairly easy to use and you shouldn't have any trouble finding your way around, don't be afraid to ask for directions, or once you reach your gate ask the agents at the desk if you're at the right spot!
4. The longer flights should provide in-flight meals, although if you have long lay-overs you may find yourself hungry. Carrying small amounts of local currency (or a credit card) is useful for buying snacks/meals while in the airport. Most airports should have a currency exchanger avaliable.
5. As you depart your plane you should ask if your luggage is automatically forwarded to your connecting flight or if you have to claim it; in my experience you'll have to claim it in Vancouver and check it again for your flight to Montreal; but best to double check!

Best of luck!

I just want to clarify, when sending the additional documents requested by the embassy, do you send those through email?

I provided them my email address during the application so the communication was mostly through email.

They also said in the letter asking for the additional documents that All requested documents must be sent as an email attachment unless specifically instructed to submit original.

Then what confuses me is the last part where they say that, Please submit documents by ONE method only. Sending duplicate or multiple channel will result in processing delay.

Please help me further understand these clause as I am confused with the words.

Thank you.
