Hi Huwawei, I'm June applicant. They started processing our application last Aug 2015 and medical result has been received as well. My medical will expire on 16th May of this year and I have no single update. We requested already for GCMS notes so we can find out what's happening on ourdocuments. Ok pa yang July, u still have ample time. I suggest, u request for GCMS notes pra me guide ka what's the real status of your papers. You can try sending them an email for follow up but they don't give concise information. I did several times but their respond is always like "we are currently processing your application".

Thank you Nicah..
By the way, in regards with GCMS, If my husband there in Canada will request for it, will all the details (both mine and his) will be available? or do I still need to send him the consent form? :)

Helo po sa inyo lahat, just wanna know after you received your Prv with the CoPR.. aside from CFO seminar, is there anything else do i need to attend? or yun na talaga.. kasi gusto ma sure lahat para di na pabalik2.

Correct me ah: Sa pagkakaintindi ko under work visa ka sa SG, and non resident card holder?
So if you are not resident in current location mo, therefore CIC decided to put your papers on visa office for your nationality.

For me here, I have Residency here in Doha, pero Doha doesn't have visa office na nag aaus nang for family sponsorship, so ang pinakamalapit na visa office dito is abu dhabi. So you think it's abu dhabi? Thanks. hehe

I saw one forum na, sa security check medyo matagal specially if madami ka bansa ni stayan more than 6 months :)

What's GCMS notes?

You are absolutely right, but as to where ur sponsorhip should be applied, hinde na po ako sure sa bagay na yan or safe to say wala po ako idea. As per GCMS notes, yan po ung detailed process about sa papers mo po. Nakalagay dun ung buong detalye jan bawat galaw ng mga documents mo po. Nirerequest un, pacheck na lng po sa website nung guidelines po. Good luck!

Travelling can be nerve wracking your first time alone, but for the most part it's not so bad :)

1. Keep any valuables on your person, (don't put laptops/cellphones/etc in checked luggage).
2. Like anywhere theft is possible, so just be aware, don't leave your bags unattended.
3. While most airports are fairly easy to use and you shouldn't have any trouble finding your way around, don't be afraid to ask for directions, or once you reach your gate ask the agents at the desk if you're at the right spot!
4. The longer flights should provide in-flight meals, although if you have long lay-overs you may find yourself hungry. Carrying small amounts of local currency (or a credit card) is useful for buying snacks/meals while in the airport. Most airports should have a currency exchanger avaliable.
5. As you depart your plane you should ask if your luggage is automatically forwarded to your connecting flight or if you have to claim it; in my experience you'll have to claim it in Vancouver and check it again for your flight to Montreal; but best to double check!

Best of luck!
