Hello po. Newbie here. :)

may mga questions po sana ako and hopefully dito ko po mahanap yung sagot. so here's the situation:
I'm on a 3 years relationship with my gf who's also a filipina that is a PR in Canada and we're planning to get married when she comes home next year. I'll be working on everything regarding our wedding(Civil Wedding) para pag uwi nya ikakasal nalang kami. Questions are:

1. Kailangan po ba i-update muna lahat ng wife-to-be ko lahat ng documents nya like passport, etc. na surname ko na gamit nya bago sya mag apply?
2. Will it affect our future spousal sponsorship application since Civil wedding lang kami kinasal instead of Church wedding?
3. may effect din po ba sa screening yung age bracket namin kasi 25 years old na po ako yung gf ko naman ay 22 years old?
4. kailangan po ba employed sya para ma-sponsor nya 'ko (she's currently unemployed & i dont think she'll be bago kami ikasal kasi baka di sya payagan mag leave if ma-employed sya)?
6. what exactly are in appendix A and B(advance question)?

2. Hindi nmn po makaka affect , as long as genuine po yung relationship nyo (show all the proof na strong ang relationship nyo)
3. Wala nmn sa age bracket,, nasa right age na kayo
4. Ok din po pag may work sya, kasi dun ibabase nila kung kaya kang issuport ng sponsor u, pwede nmn po magleave sya sa work, kasi pumapayag nmn mga companies na magleave specially pag family matter,
5. Wedding pictures, honeymoon pictures, engagement pictures if meron, mga new and past pictures nyo
6. Appendix A and B, u may refer to CIC website and download the forms, andun po lahat ung list ng mga kelangan nyo iprepare na forms and documents
7. To avoid redflags, sundin mabuti ung mga requirement na nakalagay sa appendix A, ang ung sponsor po need nya din sundin lahat ung mga nandun sa guidelines nya
8. Iba iba, pero maximum is 16 months...

As for my case, I sponsored my husband and submitted all the documents such as my passport is ung single last name ko pa not the married last name kc if gawin pa ung mga change name sa mga documents it will take a long time ... As long as may CENOMAR, AOM and NSO marriage cert justifiable na un... Civil wedding lng din kami ni hubby....

Meron ba dito na bagong PR pa lang sa Canada yung fiance tapos after a few months sumunod yung hindi PR tapos nag pakasal sa Canada? can you share your expericence and possibly the requirements? (Toronto)

Hi sorry to bump here. Would it take effect or magkakaroon ng problem pagdating namin sa immigration off sa vancouver?tia

Do they care about it?

background:
me - applicant for spousal sponsorship
husband - sponsor (permanent resident)
we got married last august 2015 po

hi!

1. You dont need to print all of your chat logs. And you dont need to translate all of it as well. Take our case: we were in a 5 year relationship. We copied one to two conversation per year of relationship. Picked the most relevant or the ones that are mostly or partly in English. We picked personal messages during anniversaries or monthsaries. Also, we print screened our FB timeline. One or two Fb status per year. In skype, we print screened our call logs. One photo in a coupon bond then labelled as skype call logs.
2. Income not a major factor. So long as your hubby is NOT RECEIVING WELFARE.
3. Yes, send all your completed forms to your husband in Canada. DONT FORGET TO SIGN AND PUT DATE.

Goodluck!! :)
