You'll be able to add your timeline after 10 post. Full member ka na nun and you can edit your profile.

Hi toffboss, did you/your spouse receive an email of the sponsorship approval? In my case kasi, di ako nakareceive ng sponsorhip approval email, ang nareceive ko nalang na email is yung AOR ng Manila Immigration agad. Normal ba yun case ko? Hehe. Important ba yung letter of sponsorship approval/kailangan ba siya ipresent later? Thanks!

Pero just prepare pra ready pag hiningi)

Dun initial check ung copr at passport at declaration tas bibigyan ng welcome to canada book. Present niu dito ulit COPR at passport at declaration card. Tas interview. Basic lng naman mga questions. Be confident in answering tas wag kabahan. After nun, papaupuin kau tas veverify nung officer ung information niu. Pag ok na, tatawagin kau tas papapirmahin at ask ung adress niu sa canada. Tas dapat may stamp ult ung declaration card. It happens daw sometimes. WELCOME TO CANADA!!

Hi everyone! We just got an email dated September 21st 2015 requesting 1.) completed Appendix A and 2.) six pieces of immigration photos. Just to confirm, do I have to send in my passport with this or wait until they actually ask for it? or eto na ba yun PPR for Manila? (It seems maaga sila nagre-request compared to other VOs)

Hello everyone!

I was wondering if I could get some clarification. We sent our application for sponsorship on July 7, 2015. On August 11 we received confirmation that everything had been received and may status na rin na "started processing on August 11". Later on I checked online for the status again and found na sa side ng husband ko - as the person being sponsored - nakalagay na rin na "starting processing on Sept 10". This confused me because I never got an e-mail saying na approve na ako as sponsor, and as far as I know hindi nila uumpisahan ung asawa ko kung hindi pa ako naapprove as sponsor. Does this mean approved na po ako? Im asking because I don't want to get my hopes up. :(

People have been very encouraging saying it takes about 8 months on average para matapos ang sponsorship even though the website says "17 months", pero at the same time natatakot akong umasa at madisappoint.. We've been apart for 4 years now and we're trying to be very hopeful kasi gusto na namin magsama. I hope to get good news from everyone here din, hoping na masama kami sa mga sinwerte na mabilis ang pag process :)

Hi! This happened to us too (Actually, hanggang ngayon In Process pa din ang nakalagay for both columns on our ECAS). You probably already have the Sponsorship Approval, try calling the CIC call center. According to the website, they are processing applications received on July 21st, so they can confirm to you by phone if you have SA. We didn't get the official email until 2 weeks after we first called and got our SA by phone The first time we called was when our ECAS changed to In Process, they said they mailed it by post, "it's on the way" and we'll receive it in a week. We never got it so we called back and they sent us the email after that.

Ah thank you! I hope we get the PPR soon. My husband said to call the CIC center tomorrow to ask about it but I told him, I'll just ask on the forums because sure ako, I'll get a more reliable answer in less than 5 minutes haha :)
