What is the difference between the 2 types of PPR? Is there one better than the other? This is really confusing with Manila VO.

The first PPR is when the e-mail includes a visa validity date and specifically says "Your visa(s) for permanent residence to Canada is/are ready to be issued. Your visa(s) will be valid for your initial entry to Canada until (yyyy/mm/dd)."
This assumes that the decision is made and visa is ready.

The second PPR is when the e-mail only says "At the end of this document is a request for additional documentation required within 30 days. In order to continue processing your application, we require the following information and/or documents..."
Nothing is said about the visa. This type of PPR is done at the beginning of the file transfer.

hello i think the 1st one is much better because they are done doing background check and the 2nd ppr state that they will request your passport so they can proceed to the next step.

Still no passport Request yet?? I see other timelines here that started in June and they are on passport request already? I have emailed them about this, and all they say is please refer to our processing times on the website that say up to 15-16 months. But why would our's be months behind? Is there anyone I can talk to for help?

July 18: In process sa ECAs..started processing our application in CEM
Sept, 8 : PPR and visa validity stated kasabay sa PPR
Sept. 10: ..paid the RPRF and mailed the required docs.
Sept.12: received at CEM according sa 2Go courier

And now, we're waiting till it will be returned back to me...we're so grateful for this, finally magkakasama na kami ni hubby....God is good all the time...

But I haven't received any email about sa decision ng sponsorship if approved or not... Is it possible? hello. newbie po ako dito.. nagfafile pa po kami ng application. sponsored spouse and dependant child.. this november pa po namin ipapasa since uuwi si hubby dto, isasabay niya na paguwi. tanong ko lang po sana if sa medical examination,ipapasa po ba namin ang result sabay ng mga papers? di pa po ako nagpasched eh, medyo confused pa ako.. tapos regarding photos, ilang photos po ba nasubmit nnyo? marami rami ho kasi photos ko. okay lang po ba yun?

then if November ho masasubmit, by nect year ho ba may mare recieve na kaming update? thankyou in advance. pasensya ho. mahaba at maraming tanong

hi po mas maganda po if mag pa medical na po kau before nyo isubmit mga papers nyo no need to sched for medical basta po pumunta nalang po kau ng maaga para matapos po kau agad and yung photos basta include nyo with ur friends and family pati po sa kasal and travel nyo together gnun mga photos na sinumbit ko po is around 50 pcs po and pati yung mga msg namin sa skype,fb,kakotalk and viber para sure po na tlagang genuine

if nasubmit nyo ng november mga dec makakatanggap po kau ng email always check ur email po

thank you. dapat ho ba accredited ng embassy yung clinic yung papa medical namen? kasi dto sa davao dadalawang doctor lang yung nakita ko na accredited ng embassy.. regarding remittance slips naman po nakaapelyedo pa sakin kasi di pa kami kasal that time. we just got married august last year and thru bank na kami. ipapasa ko din po ba bank statements? hehe marami rami din kami copy ng conversations namin. ang saya, nakaka uplift ng confidence ang mga testimonials dto..
