I'm hoping it's not just me but Processing time on CIC updated twice this week, earlier this week CIC was working on application received on June 15, 2015 and now it changed to June 22. Hoping it starts picking up pace. Unless they always update twice per week and I only noticed now.

Pinapansin lang kasi nagpadala na din nang application and wala pa AOR, 10 days pa lang pero na s-stress na.

Nagbago na din processing time sa Manila VO down to 16months. Its not much but its a good sign unlike sa ibang VO na nadagdagan ang waiting time. For example Hongkog VO from 10, now at 20months! Aba matibde sa Beijing from 10 now at 37 months!! Pinakamatindi sa lebanon 64 months na ! Pinagpala pa dn tayo sa Manila nabawasan ng isang buwan. Hehe ;D

you're right toffboss! we're lucky na mabilis mag process ang manila VO compared to other vos :D

anyway yung copy ng email na isesend ko together with the appendix a and passport is just the PDF file right? i mean yung attachment lang? :)

Hello to all members and kababayans here in this forum. I'm new here and I'm hoping if I can get some help regarding some requirements for my application. I'm applying under family class as conjugal partner and I'm in the process of completing my requirements. And one of the requirements that I need is to include at least 2 statutory declaration of friends and family with personal knowledge of my relationship with the sponsor. Is there any statutory declaration form that I can get online so I can fill up just like the IMM5409E (Statutory Declaration of Common Law Union) form but for other individuals? Or do I have to make my own copy? And if ever I already have the forms do I need to notarized it?
Another concern I have is about my birth certificate, I was born in Saigon, Vietnam so I don't have any NSO birth certificate. They instructed that if that is the case then I can submit the original birth certificate from the country where I was born and the certified translation of it. I'm hesitating to submit the original birth certificate that I have because I only have one copy of it and I fear they might not return the original document. So I was wondering if I can send a certified true copy of my birth certificate instead? And if you have any idea where I can get it certified. Can I certify it thru any notary public? I have emailed the Manila Canadian immigration office about my inquiry but I have not received any reply. I would appreciate it if someone here can help me and thanks in advance.

hindi po mag eemail sayo CEM. Antayin mo na lng ung PP with visa at COPR. pag no email malamang sa malamang approval yan. Pag nakatanggap ka sa kanila ng email, kelangan pa nila ng additional docs or bka schedule ng interview.

sorry ive only researched about statutory declarations and have found the following links from other threads here:

click on the two links above to get some info.

Regarding the birth certificate. I think you can submit the certified copies of your birth certificate. Unless of course the CIC specifies that you give the ORIGINAL. If that is the case then attacged a letter explaining your circumstances. Godbless and goodluck my friend! Welcome sa thread!

Hi good evening everyone!

This is my first time to ask here about my status when it comes to sponsorship.. My husband is from Quebec Montreal and after we get married last year we decide to sty here for a while... And now we start already to get all the documents that we needed for sponsoring.. Nag try ako Tumawag sa VFS sabi Nila pag nag papasa ng documents for sponsoring sa mismong embassy na at no need na ng agency..yung family ng husband ko may business sa canada and he's working also there from his dad's company.. Pero sabi sa letter ng company Nila na gina- guarantee Nila na pag nakabalik ba yung husband ko Babalik na ulit sya sa work and nakalagay dun magkano sinasahod .. May question is Pwede ba talaga dito mag process si hubby ng sponsorship Habang nasa pilipinas kami ? At how long po ung pag process? Sobrang Tagal po ba talaga?? Thank you!! God blessed everyone! :)

If PR holder, He should be in Canada for the duration of the sponsorship. I have read though that he can have short visits. (2weeks). If citizen, it ok to travel.putside Canada so as you will intend to go back to Canada with you spouse if granted PR.

Regarding kung matagal. The time posted for Manila Visa Office is!6months but most applicants are completed even for less. In you case nga lang since Quebec, there is additional requirement ( CSQ) which could take a month. But all in all, Manila VO processing is faster than other VOs. Goodluck!!

finally the long wait is over..:-) VOH na po ako.. Praise God!! :-)
