Wow! Congrats on the PPR of your wife and it was just today! I'm still waiting for PPR email..actually most of us are.. Hoping we're next!!! We have the same date of file transfer... :) what time did your wife receive the email btw? Thank youuu and congrats again! :)

Oh wait for your ecas to change to DM and wait till they return your wife's passport back :)

The e-mail for PPR was received on August 12, 2015 at around 10:00 Phils time, and by 14:00 the passport was already dropped off at LBC hahaha :P

Well the PPR e-mail says the file transfer happened on July 27 but me the sponsor, didn't get the actual e-mail until July 31 so I'm not sure which date to go by. ECAS says that a decision was made for sponsor approval on July 20. So I'm not sure if our dates are the same.

I honestly did not expect the PPR to be that fast, I was thinking maybe like early Sept? How long does it take after PPR for the landing visa?

i guess that won't take long anymore :) for those who are lucky, it only took them 2 weeks to get their Passports back! Did it include the validity of your wife's visa on the email that you receive for PPR?

Huh? It didn't say anything about a visa, it just said

"Additional Document/Information Requirements at This Time
In order to continue processing your application, we require the following information and/or documents:
• Fully Completed Appendix A (attached) for you
• Original Passport(s) for you"

I read that this was normal for the Manila Visa Office, in that they request passport before processing and assessment compared to other embassies that PPR after a decision has been made...

Did something else happen here?
